chapter 5: what it takes

Two days has passed since ari was free'd from the lab, and now the day has come for her to go to the trial that will decide what happens to Mr. Shones and his accomplices. It is Sunday at 5:30 in the morning, the sun isn't even out yet, and Ari is up to go on a transport to aki city. She was able to bring one person along with her so she asked todoroki if he could go, he agreed. Aki city was I while away so they were going to stay a week (uraraka gave ari some of her clothes to wear). Mr. Aizawa went with them as well for protection against anyone who might attack. Before they got in the vehicle ari heard someone calling from behind. She turned around and saw midoriya running up to her. As he got to her he was trying to catch his breath when she asked, "is something wrong midoriya". As he caught his breath and look up to her, he pulled out his phone and said, "here, while you're gone you can take my phone, if you need anything just call uraraka". As he handed her the phone she slowly reached to grab it, and as she grabbed it her eyes lit up. She then hugged midoriya and said, "I'm going to miss you midoriya". His eyes started to tear up as he said, "that's so sweet, I'm going to miss you too". Ari looked up and noticed he was crying and said, "OH, oh no, please don't cry, ah geez". Todoroki chimed in and said, "can you quit crying midoriya, we need to leave". Midoriya wiped away most of his tears and said with a bit of a shaky voice, "sorry, sorry, anyways, I'll go back to bed, just remember that class 1-A will be very happy when you get back". Ari smiled and said, "thanks so much midoriya". He nodded and turned to go back to the dorm. Ari smiled and then felt someone tap her shoulder. She turned to see todoroki holding the door open and saying, "are you ready to go". She nodded and got in the car, setting her suitcase in front of her. Ari closed the door and as she did todoroki got in on the other side and sat his suitcase down. Ari looked nevous as she looked around. She noticed what kind of car they were in and looked to todoroki and asked, "hey todoroki, let me know if I'm wrong, but isnt this a normal every day car, wouldnt they want something tougher if something bad happens". Todoroki looked to her and answered, "they didn't tell me anything, but if it were me, i would choose the most average car out there as to not bring any attention". Ari nodded and said, "oh ok, that makes sense". They both heard the two front doors open, mr. Aizawa and a driver got in and closed the doors. Then they were off to aki city.

In a ally way, tomura meets with another villian. They were standing in the ally as tomura started, "were you follow". The villian answered, "nah, i wasn't, so what do ya need from me anyway". Tomura continued, "i need you to retrieve something for me, a girl, she is on her way to aki city as we speak". The villian asked, "do ya want her alive too?". Tomura answered, "yes, i need her". The villian smiled and said, "so, what's in it for me, i mean i don't do favors you know". Tomura then said, "if you do what i ask, then, we'll talk about your reward. Bring me the girl then we'll talk". The villian thought for a moment and shrugged, "ok fine, do you have a picture of her". Tomura reached into his pocket and pulled out a photo. He handed it to the villian. The villian looked at the picture and looked up to tomura and nodded. "They are going to be there for a week", tomura finished as they both went their separate ways.

During the car ride Ari was showing todoroki memes which he was dreading, and before they knew it they arrived at the hotel. As ari got out of the car with her suitcase in hand, she looked up at the hotel they were staying at. As todoroki joined her by her side, she quickly grabbed his hand with a nervous look on her face. Todoroki quickly looked to her a bit shocked, she looked to him and realized what she did. She quickly pulled away and looked away, "sorry, it's a habit, I do that when I'm nervous or overwhelmed, i-i won't do that again, heheh". Todoroki stared for a moment and said, "it's ok, if that is something that helps you calm down then who am I to stop you". She looked to him and smiled, saying, "oh, uhm, thank you". Mr. Aizawa then chimed in from the entrance and said, "are you two coming, or are you going to waste ever more time". Ari realized and quickly grabbed her suitcase and looked to todoroki, "come on let's go". He grabbed his suitcase and nodded as they continued into the building.
