I see the light seeping in through the windows, i can feel Natsu's arms around me.
I look around and see everyone sleeping on the floor... I can't believe it.. I saved them.. They told me that i saved them..
It seems like i almost died doing it..
Even so, i can't help but feel the need to do it again.
I unwrap myself from Natsu's arms. I get up and walk downstairs to the kitchen.
"Good morning Lucy" mom hugs me and kisses my forehead. "I can't believe this is real, i finally have you here with me, in my arms.. My baby."
I hug mom back, she lets go and hands me a plate with pancakes and fruit.
We spend some time talking while everyone else wakes up and joins us.
The day seems like a dream, the people I've come to consider friends all in one room with me, alive and happy.
My parents smiling and hugging me every chance they get.
A new life I'll have to get accustomed to.
I don't know if i can do it.. Or if I'll be able to leave the crime deaths behind me. What i do know is that i can help keep them safe.
