Chapter 10

Isis

...kill me then, i wanna die!" I yelled and tee stopped the car and faced me. I did wanna die. What tf is it to live for ? I feel like i have nobody and I'm tired of holding on.

"Isis Neveah Clarke, you talking crazy right na'" he said looking me in my eyes. And i instantly broke down.

I've always been a happy person, i can't ever remember a time i was in a dark space-until now- i find myself in the shower just sitting and crying more than often, just crying.

I turned to him "oh I'm taking crazy na huh?" I said tears streaming down my face. "YOU DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT ME ! You have yet to ask me how I'm doing ? Or how I'm feeling? I'm always there for you ! In a relationship it's supposed to be give and take but i keep GIVING you my all, for you to give me nothing ! Did you know my mama left ? Did you know my daddy left ? Left me ! .......... did you know im all alone" i said crying hysterically. I feel so over it, so empty.

He tried to reach and give me a hug but i quickly declined. The last thing i needed was Antonio's embrace.

"Just drop me off at home" i said.

"I love you baby" he said intertwining our hands.

"You don't love me" i said harshly.

I pulled up out front of Isis house and she turned and looked to me.

"What ?" I said looking confused.

"So you just gon leave me ? You gon leave me here by myself" she said looking at me with the cutest sad face. I'm in love with ha' no matter how much she run her mouth, talk slick and pop off. She's the only one i see.

"Nah, i ain't gon leave you Ma. I'm coming back" i said putting the car in reverse and backing up but for some reason she was still standing there. I stopped the car and she walked over.

"Can i come too?" She said smiling. I laughed. And she hoped in.

We was riding down the block and my phone rung. I noticed it was king.. the pin i work for.

"Yeah wassam OG?" I said. And Lexis was all in my conversation.

"I might need you to chump some niggas off. I'm not sure yet but as of right na' i need you to go see wassup"

"Ight bet, send the addy" i said before hanging up.

"Chump some niggas off ?" She said with her face scrunched up mane hea she go starting. I swerved the whip and headed in the direction of the spot.

"Tee you hear me... I don't wanna go! I want no parts.. I'm not even built like tha-" she started but i quickly cut her off.

"Isis shut up" i said as i drove.

"No tee i don't wanna go round there where them boys be.. it's dangerous.."

"MANE ISIS SHUT UP!" I yelled and she got quite. My phone rung again and it was king and i already knew what he was calling fa

"I'm 5 minutes away OG" i said.

"Ight" he replied.

We pulled up out front of the location and i tucked my Glock in my waistband.

"Tee-" isis said but i got out and closed The door. I ain't finna let shit happen to ha ass.. i just wish she Shut tf up sometimes.

Isis

I sat back in the car as i watched tee enter the housing complex and approach a group of niggas i couldn't make out the conversation but i knew it was serious by the look on his face.

I moved my attention from tee to my surroundings.

"The gheddo" i mumbled to myself.

I watched as tee followed the boys into the townhouse and got extremely nervous. I hope no fuck shit get to going on cause then ima have to air dis whole bitch OUT!" I said.

I pulled out my phone thinking to call Tee mama.. i can't wait to see ha, i just know she miss me" i dialed her number and it rang a good three times before she picked up.

"Hey Muffin" She said full off excitement! I laughed at the nick-name muffin. She gave me that name when me and Tee first got together. Tee mama is a hell of a baker. She used to make these blueberry muffins and me and my mom always used to beg her to bring us some.

"Hey mama" and yes i call his mom. "Mama" she's my mother too tf.

"What you been up too ?  Why you ain't called me lil girl"

"I'm sorry, me and Tee had got into it real bad and i-" i started but she instantly shut that down.

"Na' you know i don't care too much to be in you a tee business but whatever y'all go through, y'all lil mini differences- i don't care about nun of that. You call me Alright ?"

"Ok" i said. "Tee dropping me off to your house. We on our way" i said knowing she would be happy.

"Ok. I just got done baking some brownies too" she said and i got all excited. Tee mama can bake her ass off, she was ok at cooking but she had that baking kit down pack.

"Ok, I'll see you when we get there- that's if yo son hurry up" i said out of frustration & anxiety.

"He ain't wit you ? What he doing ?" I don't think tee mama know about what he got going on and I'm not going to be the one to break the news to her so i come up with a lie quick.

"Oh um he's in the gas station" i said.

"Oh ok sweetie, I'll see you when you get hea'"

"Ok"

....

Just as i hung up Tee was coming out. He hoped in the car and pulled off.

"Next time you tell king lazy ass to do it himself" i said crossing my arms.

"That's not how this work babygirl" he said laughing.
