Eventually my dad found out & when i tell i cried for two days straight, i cried for two WHOLE days. He told me not to call him nomore which i understand, but my mama's husband has been a BIG help.

In other news, We moved into our new place and everything is almost furnished. Today i have my 16 week checkup & you know what that means. We get our babies gender !! I told the doctors put it in a envelope and give it to My mom or Antonio's mom because they both are here today.

Me and my mom have been bonding a lot lately and she's super excited about this baby.

We walked in the doctors office i signed in and sat down waiting for someone to call my name.

"Maneee I'm excited" Antonio said rubbing my belly.

For some reason i feel like I'm not as excited as Antonio and that worries me, am i gonna be a good mother ? Of course i love my baby but most of the time my mind is occupied with worries like...Will my baby be healthy ? Sometimes i feel like Antonio has one up on me at this parenting stuff.

"Me too" i said half smiling.

"Miller" the Nurse called and we followed her to the back. I was look at my reflection in the glass corridor and saw that i was BIG Asf. Chileee my stomach wasn't the flattest thing in this world but damn. I'm giving the girls very much hot air balloon. I chuckled to myself before focusing my attention onto what room we were escorted to.

"Ok dad so how's mom been doing with the ice ?" The Nurse asked.

"She been doing good since she got the iron pills but she aint  completely stopped" he said.

"Good" she said "so mom how have you been feeling lately ? Any Nausea, Heavy bleeding, Chest pains, or stomach pains" the doctor said.

"No ma'am, but i just wanna know when will my baby allow me to eat something other than cereal and fruit ?" I said laughing defeatedly.

"This symptom is neither common or uncommon during pregnancy, the baby just wants what it wants. After you give birth i can't say that you will still have the same appetite you did before pregnancy because it varies depending on the person" she replied.

"Right, now when i was pregnant with Antonio all i ate was pizza, i ate pizza maybe 4 times a week. Now i can't stand the look of a slice" Antonio mom added.

"I can't say i had that experience with Isis, i ain't even knoe i was pregnant with her, same appetite and everything . What a surprise" my mama said and everybody let out a chuckle. Damn. That was a sweet way to tell me i was a mistake.

"Alright family,  let's check on baby" the doctor said.

I lift my shirt as The doctor smear the ultrasound gel unto my stomach. She applied the heart monitor and my baby heart was thumping. But it always is.

"Is that normal ?" Antonio's mom asked.

"with every baby it varies, for this particular baby yes. This is one of the most active babies I've ever seen. Constantly moving" the doctor answered.

"I noticed that ! i started feeling movements that felt like butterflies, but i thought i was just overthinking it" i said.

"It's called Quickening, babies first movements. Most first time moms describe the feeling as butterflies" the doctor added.

"Ok so, this is the babies head"....

She marked out all parts of the baby and something tells me my baby is gonna have everything like Antonio. She cut off the monitor when it was time to show the gender.

"Babies legs are closed, mom see if you can get baby to shift a little" she said.

I began to gentle tap my stomach and i felt the baby move.

"Ok got it" the doctor said snapping photos of the ultrasound.

My mom and Tee mom had went their seperate ways because it's Thursday and my gender reveal is on Saturday

"Where we boutta eat at ?" I said rubbing my belly.

It was the day before my baby shower and All of the family stayed at the new house. I mean EVERYBODY.

My theme for my gender reveal is prince or princess. And I'm soo excited. Me and Antonio already have two names picked out so once we find out the gender we will reveal the name of our baby.

We were all sitting around eating pizza and playing board games. Despite the feeling that o had in the beginning about this pregnant and beilittleng at the right time i noticed it brung the family closer and for that I'm grateful.

"Alright na, it's time for everybody to go to bed we have to get up early in the morning" Tee mama said.

"Goodnight"

"Goodnight"

"Nite Nite"

And everybody was off.

This chapter was all over the place but i felt the need to update 💕. I hope everybody is safe and protected with all this corona virus stuff going on. Love y'all
