Chapter Ten

Link, in Faron Woods, hurriedly went to Skyview Temple, but something seemed odd. It didn't look like it had been tampered by evil. Was the last fragment really here, or did he already have to go to the sealed temple? Link wished he had asked Ghirahim about this when he had the chance.

He decided to just go to the sealed temple. He stood before the doors and drank his last red potion to heal up. He opened the doors only to be faced with a horribly familiar face.
It was Demise.
Morrt must have brought him back too, Demise had to be the final fragment before he could face Morrt.

"So we meet again." Demise said in his dark evil voice. Link got out his sword and shield and was prepared to fight. "You may have defeated me last time, but not again." "Weren't you sealed inside the Master Sword?" Link asked. Demise laughed. "I am merely a copy of my old self, I cannot be... fully restored. But I will still make you die a most painful death." Demise then pounded the ground in front of him with his sword which caused Link to nearly fall on the floor, at which point, he did his skyward strike and Link was right in the line of fire.
GAAAAH!
Link screamed as the strike knocked him down. Demise quickly got set for another skyward strike, but Link managed to get up and out of the way before Demise was able to strike. Link decided to give him a taste of his own medicine so Link did a skyward strike as soon as he was out of the way. It hit Demise and knocked him back a bit. This left him open for multiple attacks, but as soon as Demise could, he knocked Link away with a powerful slash of his sword. Demise then hit him two more times and Link was now badly hurt.
Link avoided his last attack and did another skyward strike and was now striking Demise stronger than ever.
Link did a forward lunge and hit Demise so hard, he was knocked back. Link then did a finishing blow to end off Demise. The third fragment was now destroyed.
"ENOUGH!!"
The back doors to the sealed temple swung open as Morrt appeared in the doorway.
