Hour Later

Angelica was back in her room, two closed suitcases  on her bed. She had thrown a few simple dresses in it and the one peach dress she wore to the ball.  She had packed about as many books as she possibly could. The box with all of Alexander's letters were in one of them as well.  A hairbrush, some other hair supplies, and a few items of make-up. She had put all the papers that were on her desk, all the writing she had done, in a box and a suitcase.  There was a few more minuscule things in there as well.

She had written a note, leaving it on her desk to explain everything.  To explain to her sisters…

She threw the two suitcases out of the window...where Hercules was waiting.  She knocked on her still locked door first though and her father opened it.

"Fuck you."  She said, and he stood there speechless for a moment before starting to say something, but it was too late because she was already climbing out the window.

She dropped off the side of her former home like she had a million times.  Her father ran to the window, yelling down at her, but she couldn't hear him.  Not anymore.
