I got bored so I'm using my story problem to my advantage by changing the movie how I would've written it

Steven questioned. "Mad? Why would I be mad at my best friend?" She said clinging to me. "This will be fun aren't you the lucky one? her cut is perfect and she's pink, as well" pearl started singing "She'll bring you endless entertainment, your new best friend, Spinel!" Pearl said as Spinel Danced and posed

Your POV

"Bestfriend" ...that word almost feels alien to me.

~Flashback~

"Hey Y/N" B/F/N shouted from the other side of the street. I started running across the street to her but...

Screech
BAM!!

I was pushed harshly on the ground receiving a scraped knee I looked up and the sight in front of me was devastating.
It's pretty clear to what happened, after that I moved to beach city to forget all that...to forget how my recklessness got my best friend killed

~Flashback Over~

A pained expression washed over my face as the word repeated in my head. I tried to push Spinel away even though a part of me felt safe, she clung to me as her life depended on it. I sighed as I gave up trying to struggle out of her grasp and headed towards the others, Steven looked alarmed and Greg looked confused.

"Spinel?" I asked looking at her.

"What is a new best friend?" She said innocently as she stared at me with sparkles in her eyes.

"Could you maybe let me go?" As soon as I said that she loosened her grip and hesitantly let go.

Steven's POV

I stared I at Y/n and Spinel for a while, I mean how is Y/n so calm? I mean the gem just tried to kill Y/n. Why do the gems appear to not remember anything? What did Spinel have to do with my mom?
So many questions yet I have no answers.

I gave one last glance at Y/n and Spinel before looking at the crystal gems. As I stared at them a thought popped into my head.

Spinel's Pov (Woah so many POVs)

I stood beside my best friend as I made funny faces that made her giggle.

"What's your name "Bestfriend"?" I asked her hoping to learn everything I could about her.

"Y/n l/n" she replied with a smile which I was happy to receive.

I was about to say something but the human-looking gem announced we were going somewhere.

Glad I wrote a new chapter finally sure my first idea for this book failed but it'll get better.
