"Harrion, may we extend the balcony a bit?"

"Oh and while we're at it, a bigger bathtub would mean all of us being able to stretch our legs at the same time. Not that I don't love spending every second close to you, dear."

"May I also request going to hogsmaede to get fresh succulents?"

"Oh please, Harry, we coiuld make it a little date, a small trip down there while everyone is in class! No one will see us, I can make sure of that."

"Exactly! you wouldn't even have to take that old rag of yours, you must get that cleaned someday now."

"Darlings!"

One shout, a heavy layer of pheromones and a flexing of scales still managed to get the two mates silent.

"If you talk at the same time, I cannot understand you. One at a time. Now come close and tell me. Why all these requests at once?"

George and Fred looked at each other, their fingers fumbeling.

It had been about two months now since Harry had captured them, and a storm was coming soon. They had spent the day outside, in the gardens, walking, chatting and bonding. Antoine and Draco had met and discussed their duties and boundaries for Harry. Looking into more and more research about the Bordeaux family. There was not much to be found in the libraries at Hogwarts, nor at Durmstrang nor Beaubatton. Draco and Antoine had visited the schools during some days off, but had not come back with much information. A few teachers over at the schools had been connected to the Bordeaux family, but as everyone else their ties with the family core had been seperated after the last big battle.

"It's.."

"It's what, beasties?"

The nickname had stuck after the few weeks of nurturing and re-educating his mates, their purrs sounding so much like cats, little mewls like merpeople, and sometimes even chills going down the spine like thestrals and hippogriffs.

"T-there's a.." George began, "-a heat. Coming soon," Fred finished. "And we we're a little worried." "Because we haven't been able to find.." "Any of your family core yet.." "And without proper aproval.." "They could kick us out." "And we already know," "That the next heat will be more difficult than.." "Than the ones before." "We will probably need you here." "With us." "The whole time."

Harry stood a moment, thinking. Then stood up straight, no hesitation in his eyes. "I will discuss the matter with my ferrets. I will figure something out, I promise, beasties. And even if there's nothing I can do to help you, I will be here the whole time. I don't care if my family core kicks you out, hell, I'll make sure they won't be able to kick you two out. I'll murder anyone who even dares to kick you out, even look at you funny. No one goes against my mates. My beasties."

Fred and George started to tear up and Harry gathered them by his sides. "Hey," he asked for their attention, pushing their chins up to look in his eyes, "No one will take you from me. No one. I'll kill them before they get the chance. You are mine. You should never have to worry about that. I'll mark you two up so bad, no one will even dare to lay a hand on you."

That seemed to calm the twins down, purrs filling the room.

"I'll visit the ferrets now. I'll have this discussed as soon as possible. Do you know when your heat will be starting? Can you feel it already?" Harry asked and felt them down with his pheromones. The twins seemed to wordlessly have a conversation between them, chirps and mewls passing over between the two. Harry loved it when they conversed like this. They could still have some sort of privacy between them, it was a thing about their twin bond.

"We can feel it.." "But not for two days at least." "That was last year though.." "So maybe sooner." "Maybe tomorrow already.." "It creeps up fast." "So if you leave you have to-" "-to put the knights on watch."

Harry snickered. The nickname for his friends, Ron and Hermione, had been determined fast after Draco offered his services to Harry. All they could do is keep Harrion and the beasties safe. And of course, simply being their friends. The sibling bond between Ron and the twins felt as if it had broken and transformed into something different, nothing bad though. It felt much lighter, like they were closer but further apart at the same time. More like friends indeed.

"I'll put the knights on sharp. I'll be back as soon as the tide calls. Use the bell in need."

Harry left after a few forehead kisses and his cloak being thrown at him.
