Taejin - New Love

5. Time

Things were going quite well for Jin's first job in Boku no Cafe. Everything passed by very quickly as it had been already a week since Jin had started working.

Jin couldn't wish for a better job as right now he feels very happy every day going to his favorite cafe, serving and making customers happy.

Actually, one of the main factors that made Jhim enjoy his job so much is probably because of the people who are working there; maybe minus Yoongi.

Jimin and Taehyung are very nice and kind to him. Because Jin has never worked as a server before, there are so many things that he didn't know and needs to learn from. Jin and Jimin are quickly becoming closer as this angel mochi is always there at the right time whenever Jin is getting scolded by the strict, perfectionist Yoongi. Actually, Jin doesn't think Yoongi is a bad person. Maybe he was a mean person, but he wasn't evil. Jin sometimes felt that the cold guy was actually hiding his soft and caring side somewhere on his grumpy self. But again, Jin still didn't understand yet why Yoongi was so hard with him.

As for Taehyung..... Well.. working with Taehyung was..... something else.

Jin had learned that Taehyung was the owner of this cafe. That Taehyung just simply was a Korean guy who fell in love with the city and decided to move to Tokyo and have a life here. Jin was very amazed because Taehyung was so much younger than him, but somehow he found success in his life already; owning his own place and his own café; making enough money while having a good and stable life.

Jin thought that he must have a crush on Taehyung. He tried to ignore it but his feelings were too obvious and he was not a fool to fool himself that his heart wasn't beating for Taehyung every times the younger man was just doing the simplest thing ever, for example, talking. Oh boy. Don't even talk about whenever Taehyung was eye-ing at Jin just a little bit more intense or stare at him a bit longer; Jin's face would always burn with heat and he would feel nervous and stutter and forget everything altogether at once. Which always earned a confused and puzzled looks from the three of them.

Curse Taehyung for looking more handsome than Todoroki.

It was a sunny Thursday in their cafe shop. Jin was at the counter today taking orders. Taehyung approached him in a very handsome and cool demeanor. And his voice. Oh wow, what a beautiful deep voice.
"So Jin-Hyung, I was thinking if it is okay if you could come to work this Saturday? One of our baristas took leave on that day and Yoongi will never get out of his bed on weekends." He continued "During the weekend, having only one person to make drinks would be hell and impossible. So I was thinking if you could help?"

"This Saturday?" Jin paused as to think whether he had any plans with Namjoon.

"I have no problem coming in on Saturday but the problem is I don't know how make any drinks?" Jin raised his eyebrows to rise his insecurity about making coffee

"Ahh Hyung, you don't have to worry. Taehyung here is the best barista and things like that, you can learn. I know you have the chef in you!" Jimin who was walking passed them with a tray on his hand chimed in.

Jin's heart was already started beating fast as the thought of Taehyung teaching him how to make coffee bubbled up and filling his brain.

"Ummm... do you think it is going to be a good idea? I mean what if I messed up the flavor or the ingredient or something...? I mean I am actually very new about all of these" The thought of being alone with the handsome Taehyung was very exciting and the thought of learning new things also seemed very interesting to him as well. But he was telling the truth though. He had zero experience with making coffee before and he wasn't even familiar with the machine and everything. It would mean more problems with him involving than him not helping actually.
