"Spinel.. Spinel wake up, we're here"

Steven shook Spinel slightly, hoping he didn't startle her badly. She sat up, rubbing her left eye as she grumbled a few things to herself.

"Do you need me to come in with you?"

"..No.. I can go in myself. Thank you Steven"

Spinel got out of the car, grabbing her bag and heading into the hospital. She stood in line, pulling out her health card as the minutes past silently.

The disturbing sound of coughing and gagging filled the room as sick patients came and went, Spinel still waiting as the nurses were busy.

"Next."

Spinel walked over to the small cubical and sat in a chair, sliding over her health card to the nurse under a thin glass window that separated the two. The nurse asked serval question, tying Spinels answers into a computer.

"Alright. Have a seat and someone will come get you shortly."

Spinel took her card back and headed over to some green couch like chairs, resting herself on the closes one to the offices. She didn't want to do a walk of shame, even if she was there to get help.

Her left arm showed scars from when she was her lowest low. She wasn't proud of herself at all. A blush of embarrassment covered her already rosy cheeks as a parent scoffed and pulled their child away after seeing such disgusting marks.

A nurse called for Spinel. She got up and walked over, doing her best to cover her scars. Luckily non were new, she managed to keep herself together long enough for Steven to bring her to such a hellish place.

"Tell me Spinel. What's going on? Why are you here?.. is this for attention?"

The nurse's questions put Spinel in a worse mood, the tone and way it was worded made it seem like the nurse didn't believe her. After a few more questions she was put into a wheelchair and brought up serval levels into a special unit.

"Here you are. You'll stay here until we think you're mentally well enough to leave. If you want to call someone, ask one of the nurses and then let you."

Spinel thanked the nurse who guided her up to the unit before grabbing her bag and heading towards an empty room. The main units nurse searched through the bag, making sure that nothing against the rules were present.

"Spinel. Go change into this."

Spinel was handed red and white stripped pjs. They were made out of a shitty thin fabric that itched terribly. Spinel sighed, going into the bathroom and changing. She handed the nurse her bag and waited in her room, the rest of the units patients out for a walk.
