A week passed. Spinel did as she was told and filled in several pointless English class like essays about how she felt. After a week of staying in her room and reading books and drawing, she was finally allowed to leave. Her and Peeps would spend as much time as they could together, even if it wasn't that much it was still nice.

Peeps was let out two days before Spinel, causing the place to be twice as bad. Spinel managed to keep herself entertained while she waited to be freed. The day she was let out, Steven drove her home and stayed with her for a few hours. She honestly wanted to be alone, the hospital making her want to be even more isolated.

"How was the hospital? Did they assign you a therapist?"

"Hm?.. Oh! Yeah. They did. I'll see her in a few days or whatever.."

"..ok. I'm glad you went to get help. I'll see you tomorrow!"

Steven grabbed his car keys and headed out the door. Spinel waved to him, sighing in relief as he left. She just wanted to be alone for a while, mainly to cry. Sure the hospital got her a therapist and stopped her from doing something stupid. But.. it was one of the worst weeks of her life, well beside spending time with Peeps. Luckily she got the pink haired girls number before she left.

Spinel: hey, it's Spinel! From the hospital, hehe. Just checking in!

Spinel groaned after hitting send, cringing at her own words. Why was she so awkward? She just wanted to be cool but she was just, kinda sad. She waited for a while for Peeps to respond but, nothing. She tossed her phone onto her couch, walking into her kitchen to make food.

"..aaand there's nothing.."

She sighed and opened the freezer, grabbing a box with Mac and Cheese in it. She popped it into the microwave, waiting for around five minutes for it to cook. Once it went off, she opened the door and went to grab it. Big. Mistake. She burned her finger, a yelp coming out of her mouth as she held her finger.

She sighed and carefully grabbed it, taking a fork and sitting on her couch. She glanced down at her phone.

Peeps: hey!
