Walking down the main corridor, Spinel felt a chill run up her spine. This school seemed odd, everything just a little bit off. The teachers, a little too happy, the hallways, just a little too long. with a deep breath, she reached for the door to her class, fearing what may be on the other side of it. She sighed, her hand withdrawing as she thought to herself. "thanks pearl.. you're such an amazing guide. ditching me right before class." she grumbled, heading into the shockingly cold room. her shoes dragged across the wooden floor, creaking with nearly every step. the students all faced towards the teacher, who sat silently with a dead grin on her face. Spinel fell onto her seat, her feet resting on her desk as the teacher began to speak. she spoke in an almost demonic way, her words backwards, twisting around her tongue smoothly. with a gulp, the new student picked herself up. she wasnt sure what to do, being surronded by the mob of classmates. she carefully grabbed her bag, her hearts pounding filling the room as she tried to think. what was she supposed to do?

"Spinel! spinel wake up!"

A familiar voice rang in the girls ear, her body laid on the cold hard ground, ants crawling around her limp limbs. was it a dream? or did her panic push her into a coma? she wasnt sure. all she knew was that she was laying on the floor, her friend above her, as well as that stupid pearl. of course. she couldn't even leave her alone when she was dead on the floor.

"spinel are you ok?" Peeps asked, helping the other sit up, she rubbed her back carefully, soothing her. "you took quite the stumble down those stairs!". stairs?.. of course! she was starting to remember now, well, as much as she could after hitting her head so hard.

She insulted pearl easily, mocking her attempt to hit on her crush, but seemed to fail at walking away in a badass manor. she flipped the strawberry blond the finger, showing off her deep coal coloured nail in the progress. as she walked away, she stumbled over her own large shoe, causing her to panic and take a tumble down the main stairs.

"yeah I'm ok.. let's just head to class"
