The most powerful alpha in the country is my mate.
Rumors are that he makes his pack call him "master".
Rumors are that just by sheer strength, he has dissolved at least ten packs in his five years as alpha.
His name is Benjamin Hill.
As his chocolate brown eyes stare into mine, I try to get enough of my courage back. I heard what Burgundy said behind me and my eyes were slightly watering from trying to hold back my laughter.
"You're royally screwed."
Yeah. No shit.
Burgundy's POV:
I could practically feel Benjamin's power surge over our large group. Everyone became deathly quiet. Then, two muttered world made all of us (except Parker and I) haul ass back to the dorms.
"Leave now."
When Benjamin saw that we were still here, he growled, "I thought I told you to leave."
Now, If I wasn't a kick ass vampire assassin, I probably wouldn't have provoked the already pissed off wolf. But, seeing I only had a little bit longer as a free woman, I took life (my life, namely) by the nipples and milked it for all its worth.
"Heyyyy, Benjamin boy." I said, sauntering up to him. He raised an eyebrow as I slung my arm around his shoulders. "Can I call ya Benji? Ben? Jamin?" I asked. I noticed Parker had a weird expression on his face. Then, you know I probably shocked them into oblivion by doing something really innocent, not that big of a deal.
I kissed him.
Hey! He's hot and I'm female!
Plus, I'm hormonally in-stable.
Then, all at once, Ben, Maxine, and Parker simultaneously growled low at me. I took my body parts off of Ben as if he was a STD. "What?" I snapped at them. "I was just welcoming him to the family!"
Ben growled because I was touching him, obviously. If I had a penis and testicles, Benji and I could probably be twins. Maxine growled probably because her wolf made her. It was her mate and I had infringed on that. Parker growled at Benji because I was touching him, and I am Parker's mate. Jesus Christ, there are waaay to many hormones in this freak show they call a get-together.
How the hell are we all going to ever get along?
