Chapter 9

Hinata

I came to the conclusion that kicking and screaming wasn't doing me any good. I can't go into another room with Mamoru and these guards. I have been touched by Mamoru's grimy hands more than I would like. If I don't find a way out now I don't know how far he will go this time, and I don't want to find out.

I stand up straight and calm down trying to think. I match my strides with the guards, causing them to slightly loosen their grips on my arms. Guard 1 is the weakest, so if I take him out first I can quickly move on to Guard 2 (Asuka). I just can't get caught by Mamoru like last time. He will be the most difficult to beat.

"Byakugan" I snatch my right arm out of Guard 1's hold and send a gentle fist to his primary chakra point of the central nervous system located on the back of his neck. I immediately turn to Asuka as I hear Guard 1's body drop to the floor. He was now paralysed from the neck down. 

Asuka's grip on me tightened once he realized what just happened. I lift my left arm causing his arm to follow, leaving an open space. I strike his upper left thigh, rendering his leg useless. He falls on his good knee, gapping at his limp leg and back at me. He tries to grab my other arm so I send a gentle fist to his shoulder.

I was about to connect when someone grabbed my arm and I felt a sting across my face. I look up to see Mamoru furiously observing me with an open hand. "You little bitch."

I yanked my right arm from his death grip and try to severely injure him with a gentle fist to the chest. He instantly grabs my hand and pushes me down to my knees. He takes a shuriken from his pouch and presses it right under my collar bone aways from my armpit, stabbing me deeply. I scream in pain as he laughs.

I don't have much chakra left. I could stay here and try to fight him or I can try to run and escape. It takes all the strength in me to take the shuriken out my chest with my free hand. I use it to stab Mamoru's hand causing him to let go of me.

I make a run for it.

I have no idea where I'm going but I have to get out of here. I sprint until I see a light seeping through a door at the end of the hallway. Outside. I run faster. I can go home. I'm ready. I miss everyone; Hanabi, Neji, Naruto, Kiba, Shino, Tenten, and even my father. No more cold cell nights with Sasuke and I locked up.

I stop at the thought of Sasuke. Sasuke!

I look back to see Mamoru hot on my trail. I turn into a dark room on my right and hide against the wall next to the door.

I have to go back for Sasuke. I know he had an escape plan. Hopefully he is open to abandoning that plan and leaving early. He has no choice.

I wait in the room until I hear Mamoru's footsteps pass. I check if the coast is clear and make my way back to the cell. I pass Guard 1 and take the keys and a kunai from his belt. I don't see Asuka but I can't worry about him right now.

I use the keys to open the cell then rush to Sasuke. I see him chained up as usual. Relief comes over me as I see him, but he doesn't look so happy to see me. Concern was more prevalent on his face.

I run to him fumbling with the keys trying to find the right one. "Leave Hinata, he's here." I look at Sasuke confused.

"I'm not leaving you here. I came back for you." I look away from Sasuke's now still face and began trying more keys. "Who's here?"

As soon as I ask, Asuka lunges from a dark corner tackling me to the ground. I struggle underneath him as he pins both his hands to my throat choking me. I can hear chains rattling as Sasuke is trying to get free.

I grab Asuka's hands but he won't let up. I try to reach the kunai in my shoe from that I took from Guard 1.  I stretch until I am able to pull it out. I can feel myself began to become dizzy. I lost a lot of blood and now I can't breath.

I lift the Kunai with shaky hands and plunge it into Asuka's chest as hard as I can. I watch as his eyes widen with surprise as he leers down at the kunai in his chest. I don't think he believed I did that. I didn't believe it either.

His body became more heavy on top of me and my lungs filled with air. I began coughing and heaving as I push his body off of me. I slowly get to my feet and stumble over to Sasuke. I unchain both his hands and urge him to get up.

"Are you okay?" He asks getting onto his feet. I peer at him with hazy eyes. I feel sick to my stomach. I can't read his face. Worry? Maybe. I choose not to comment. We need to leave.

"Let's go." I pull the Kunai out of Asuka's chest and give it to Sasuke. I know he has more use for it than I do. I try my best to walk to the cell door, though it was more of a wobble. I look back once I feel Sasuke not following me. I lean against the cell entrance frame taking a breather.

I watch as he strips Asuka of his pants. Asuka was motionless, he was dead. His eyes were partially open, staring at me. They contained no more life and I did that. I quickly turned around and emptied my stomach on the cell floor.

"Your not okay." Sasuke says while putting on Asuka's pants. I look at him wiping throw up from my chin.

This is the first time I had seen Sasuke fully up and standing. He was slim but toned. He stands about 6'2. His arms and chest were cut to perfection. His stomach showed a nice faded six-pack and a V-cut along his waist leading down his pelvic area. His newfound pants are kind of tight, I can see the imprint of his ...OOP. Stop blushing. Of course he even looks good with matted hair. And of course I am hunched over wiping my face of  vomit looking a complete hot mess.

"Do you want his shirt?" he asks bending down to strip Asuka of his shirt. I snap out of my thoughts and shake my head.

"No!" I speak. I weakly walk out the cell determined to leave. When did he become so chatty and worried about me?

I hear Sasuke's footsteps catch up to me. "There's a d..door" I say trying to steady my breath. I feel extremely weak, like I'm in a daze. I lean on the wall for support and continue walking. "At the en..end of the hall" I look up at Sasuke to see that same concerned look from before. "it leads outside." I say with my last breath.

Then everything went black.
