*The next day*
I wake up to the sound of someone banging on my window. I open my eyes to see Payton standing there waiting for me to open the window. I get up confused and just stare at him.
P:  look I know I'm sexy but are you just going to stare at you or are you going to let me in?
Y/n: eww gross why are you here?
P: because I need to talk to you now let me in!
Y/n: ok chill. No need to so sicko mode on me.
P: thanks you're room smells good
Y/n: your so weird now tell me why you're here so you can leave
P: oh yeah right I need to talk to you
Y/n: about??
P: well first I'm sorry about chase yesterday and what he said but just so you know none of that is true. I didn't know he was going to act like that.
Y/n: but you didn't do anything about it.
P: what?
Y/n: you just stood there and let him call me all of those rude things! If you actually felt bad for me you would have said something to him right then and there but you didn't you just stood there and let him talking him mouth off.
P: well I'm sorry but your "boyfriend" was already having your back.
Y/n: my boyfriend- you mean Jadan? I've known him for like 3 hours when we were at lunch.
P: well it looked like you two got together quite fine
Y/n: why are you so heated about Jadan? If you ever talked to him you would know how much of a great guy he is.
P: so you like him.
Y/n: what? Where did you get that from.
P: your having his back when like you said you've known him for a day. Y/n I've known you since the 5th grade.
Y/n: I'm just returning the favor when he had my back at lunch and not a guy I've know since the
"5th grade."
P: you're not denying it.
Y/n: why do you care so much huh? We might have known each other since 5th grade but you have not said a word to me until this year why is that? And now that I have some interest in a guy you have to ruin it?
P: you know why I haven't talked with you...
Y/n: oh right because when we came to high school you started to become "popular" and you didn't want to be seen with me.
P: y/n...
Y/n: Payton why are you here? Shouldn't you be somewhere making out with someone?
P: I just wanted to apologize and wanted to hang out with you today
Y/n: why?
P: because like you said I've haven't been the nicest to you so I'm here to make it up so you're in?
Y/n: Payton you can't just come in my room through my window and apologize expecting me to forgive you. And why all of a sudden you're talking to me? You never gave interest in me before?
"Phone rings"
P: who's calling you?
Y/n: I have to take this.
I grab so clothes from my closet and go into the bathroom getting ready for the day while I answer my phone
???: heyyy
Y/n: hey Jadan what's up?
J: oh nothing just wanted to know if you wanted to go to a party with me today.
Y/n: a party? I'm not really a party person.
J: oh come on it will be funnn plus Riley is going I texted her. She will be there
Y/n: uhhh ok!
J: great I'll pick you up at your house at 7!
Y/n: ok!
I walk out of my bathroom and see a note on my bed and Payton gone I'm guessing he heard about the party
The note:
Hey I had to go I had to uhh.It's not important but what you said had me thinking.If you're willing to can we restart?I know you know me as a "fuck boy"
Which is totally wrong but I'll try to be less f- boyish if you stop calling me one and stop hating on me. Maybe we can even become friends? Anyways please take this offer and think about it. I miss my 5th grade best friend...
