Prom is less then a week away and tony still hasn't asked me yet. Riley says sadly as we are walking up to school
Well maybe he's planning on something. I say trying to cheer her up.
But would it really take this long?

As we were approaching school we saw a hug crowd of people. We tried our best to squeeze in and soon enough we were right in the center. There was Troy standing there with a sign in his hand and might I say he looks really nervous. He probably is more nervous now then he is before any games. I think I know what's going on here...
~Riley's POV~
As me, nessa, and y/n made out way to the middle of the huge crowd I saw the only the guy I truly care about. He was standing there with his beautiful smile and a sign in his hand. I don't know if you can tell but I was getting super nervous. Once he saw me his eyes lit up and he also seemed kinda nervous. He walked closer to me while keeping that same smile on his face. He then reads his sign out loud
I would cheer really loud if I scored a date with you at prom...
I look up to him with tears in my eyes and you could tell that he was still nervous not knowing what I was going to say but l look up to him and smile while nodding. His smile turns huge as the crowd cheers. He hugs me and picks me up. I was giggling as he puts me down I kiss his cheek that makes the crowd go in awe.
The crowd slowly start to go away and it was only me and Troy left
You did all of this for me? I ask whispering to him
Of course I had to make sure I asked me favorite cheerleader to prom in a special way so everyone knows you're going with me! Troy says smiling
Well I wouldn't want to go with anyone else.
Me neither. He says and kiss my forehead.
I tried my best not to blush but I couldn't help it it's just came to my cheeks and soon there were bright red.
You are adorable when you blush. Troy says while holding my hand making me blush even more
Come on I'll walk you to class. And like that me and Troy are walking to class with our hands intertwined
~Y/n POV~
Seeing Riley with Troy made me so happy I've never seen her that happy or with that big of a smile. I was just standing there with the rest of the crowd in all awe. Lucky I took a video so now Riley gets to watch it anytime she wants. But as I was watching them be all lovey dovey I also began to become sad. All my friends have dates to prom. No one has asked me and I don't think anyone will. I'm going to be third wheel the whole night. As my smile slowly disappeared I felt hands on my shoulder.
I never knew Riley had a thing for Troy. I knew that voice it was Payton's
Yeah me neither she just told me and nessa about him when we went to go get our dresses.
They would be a cute couple. Payton says
Yeah they would I got to hand it to him I've never seen Riley this happy and I've know her for years.
Yeah me neither not even the time she got flowers form her crush in 7th grade.
I remember that she came running to me and telling me everything that happened not missing one detail. I say giggling while looking at Riley and Troy hug.
Do you have a date yet? Payton asks
Nope not yet I honestly think I might have to third wheel my best friends on prom day if no one asks me. How about you? I say looking at Payton.
No, not yet but I'm planning on asking someone soon.
Oh really who? I ask him.
