Lunch was over and to say the least it was very awkward. Payton would talk to me every once in a while but he stayed talking to josh and nessa. Honestly I don't know why he's doing this like what does he want out of this? Does he actually want to be friends again? Or is this another one of his "pranks" you know what it doesn't matter. If Payton keeps showing that he actually gives a fuck then maybe I'll give in but it isn't going to take over night. My trust with him is very low right now so he has to gain it back. Me and Jadan we're walking to algebra holding hands as usual. I don't know what we are. Yeah we flirt with each other all the time but he hasn't asked me out yet. We been "talking" for over a month and he only has taken me out on one date. Anyways we get to class when I realize we have a new seating arrangement. Oh great just what I need. I liked where I sat I was with Jadan and we could flirt and cuddle during class. Once I find my name I look to see who's next to me. Of course. It's always him. I go to sit down and I see Payton walk up to me from the corner of my eye.
Well looks like we'll be friends in no time!

I look over to Jadan and see he is sitting with the most popular girl in the school Ashely Rodriguez not going to lie I'm a little jealous. He hasn't look over at me once and is laughing over there with her.
Hey I'm sure it's nothing Payton says to me
I look back at him. Yeah it would mean nothing if she wasn't the most popular girl in school.  She can get any guy wrapped around her finger. hell she even got you once. I say and put my head down on the desk.
Hey don't bring that up I'm not proud of that. He says
I chuckle and look up at him. I don't have a chance do I? I say a little sad
Hey don't be sad. You do have a chance you are the most amazing girl I know. And if Jadan doesn't see that we'll then it's his lost. He's just going to be another one of Ashely's boyfriends.

Me and him look at each other in the eyes for a good 3 seconds when I look away and chuckle. But he keeps staring at me.
