"În cazul în care?" the driver asked, Demetri leaned forward and gave him the place, "Pompeii." He then leaned back to his seat. The driver exit out of the parking lot and was on the road. There was thankfully no traffic, but it would take us awhile to get to town. I leaned my head on Demetri's shoulder and fell asleep.
"Isn't this a wonderful surprise." A voice said, I pulled away from Nathaniel and turned to the voice. I saw my sister standing near the waterfall with arms crossed and a smirk planted on her face. "What are you doing here Beatrix?" Nathaniel questioned as he stepped in front of me, her smile grew. "Well I saw you two leave together at the partty, so I decided to follow you." She slowly walked closer to it as she was only a few feet away from us. Her smile grew as she unfolded one arm and placed it under her chin as she stared at us with knowing eyes. "I'm surprised that it took you this long to finally kiss." She laughed, as if this were a joke, to her it maybe was. "Leave us alone Beatrix. " Nathaniel demanded his voice was harsh, we both knew the conciquences of either of us getting caught. Beatrix knew that we would get in trouble and that we'll do anything for our leaders not to know. "If I leave I'll tell everyone of what you did. Unless you convince me other wise." I let out a shaky breath, Nathaniel became tense. "What do you want,Beatrix?" I questioned her with narrowed eyes, she smirked and pretend to think. "Hmm let me think." she walked around for awhile, then she stopped and turned to us with a sinister smile. "You know, I think I know what I want." she teased, Nathaniel pushed me more behind him as he growled out, "And what is it that you want?", Beatrix smirk grew as she said, "What I want is to have your power."
"Suntem aici în Pompei" The driver announced, that woke me up. I sat up straight, Demetri paid for ride and we exited the taxi. When we got out of the car, I slug my bag over my shoulder and made my way to where the tourist were at. When we got there I turned to Demetri, "Now what?" I asked Alec and Jane turned to him, "We wait until everyone leaves." He then sat on one of the benches provided and looked around. I too did the same and sat next to him as the other just walked around, "Demetri, what was it that you wanted to talk about?" I asked him when I faced him, he sighed then faced me, "What are we really doing here?" he asked me, I took a deep breath. "Look Demetri, I knew that you were able to use you ability as soon as you stood up in the throne. And I also knew that you were able to get in my head with or without permission."
"Why didn't you say anything?" he asked with furrowed eyebrows, I grabbed my bag and placed it on my lap. "I didn't say anything because I knew if the others found out that you were able to get in my head without permission. They'll ask you to get information about why your here." He seemed confused of my decisions, "But I don't know why we're here." he stated, as he looked at me, "Well good thing they let me remember." So I began to tell him.
