The sun started to set, as I walking the streets, my new found abilities hasn't left me yet for that I was glad. I started to look around for a place for me to stay, after looking for a good five minutes I finally find one. I made my way to it, as I neared it I set my bag to the side as I leaned against the wall and slide down. For walking the streets, I knew I was being followed but didn't knowing I could defend myself or run. I tilted my head upwards, with my eyes closed as I felt my new found ability escaping me. With a sigh, I felt a shadow loom over me, I slightly opened my eyes to see the person responsible for but to find not one but three others. Fully opening my eyes giving them my full attention I noticed that they were wearing dark cloaks, as I looked closely they were wearing leather gloves. It made me smile, I held out my hand for one of them to take it until a brave soilder finally took it as I hoisted myself up. I bent down to take my bag, then slung it over my shoulder. I looked passed their shoulder to find a more private place for us to talk. Several moments, I saw an alley and walked towards it with them following behind. As we were in the alley it was shady for ther to be no sun shining.
"Hey, my name is Nicole." I stook out my hand for either of them to take. They pulled down their hoods, to reveal their faces. As soon as they did I noticed that their eyes were red and had pale skin. "I'm Jane." the girl introduced, I smiled but didn't return the favor, "and this is my twin brother Alec, the others are Demitri and Felix." They seemed to have no emotions at all, but I didn't mind it. "So when are going to take me back to the Volterra?" I asked, I was a very straight headed person, Jane smiled then said "We shall be heading back, this was easier then I had expected." They all pulled up their hoods, and walked back to the streets. Jane and Alec were ahead of me, as Demitri and Felix were behind. As we entered the building, and into the throne the man with black straight hair smiled as he clapped his hand. "What a wonderful surprise, I was hoping to see you again."
I let a small smile on my face but it was short lived as I waited for this person to continue. "After the incadent that happened not too long ago, I was hoping for you to join us." I knew it wasn't a choice but a fate that I had to take. "I don't think so." I replied, as I took a stepped back when I did I saw the four that followed me step forward. I turned to them as I tilted my head to the side giving them a curious look. "Well that is unfortunant, you did kill one of our own. I would only seem fair." the man replied as I brought my attention back to him. I narrowed my eyes at him, "What's your name?" I questioned him, he just smiled. "My apology we havn't introduced ourselves. My name is Aro." I smiled and stepped in front of him, I made sure that I removed my gloves and held it out to him, "It's about time I get to meet the famous Aro." He smiled then glanced down on my hand that was still waiting for him to take. "Where I come from its rude not to shake someones hand. Mysophobia?" I asked, he smiled "No I'm not, just cautious about my well being."
I quickly took his hand, skin touching skin, I smirked "It wasn't that bad, was it?" He seemed stunned for of what I did, he composed himself. "No it wasn't." He then let go of my hand and turned around "It makes me wonder how you have known about me?" he then questioned, his back still towards me, I leaned on my right leg. "Its called history, you made a lot of it" I replied, "You would have known that if you were able to use your Tactile telepathy on me, but you couldn't. Why is that?" He then turned to me with narrowed eyes. "What are you, exactly?" he asked as he took small steps towards me. "Well, thats information I should keep to myelf." he smiled but I knew it was forced, "but I will take you up on that offer."
"Very well then, Alec take her to her room." Aro requested, Alec then bowed after saying 'Master'. He then led me out of the throne and on to the hallways, his hands behind his back. It was silient as we walked until I broke it, "So how long have you've been part of this....group?" I questionedas I side glanced him, he didn't answer so I asked another. "You don't talk much do you?" moments later their was no response, after getting aggitated of him not replying. I grabbed his hand even though it was covered by leather, as it resulted us to halt. I looked up at him as he looked down at me cautiously readying to use his gift on me. I smiled at the thought, I slowly slide off his glove. "I apologize for the people that harmed you. Even though Aro had saved your life, my people would have done more than what Aro provided." I touched his hand and shivered of the coldness it possessed, I flipped his hand that showed his palm and traced the lines. "I wouldn't change anything for what Aro did for me and my sister, I'm greatful for what he did for us." Alec stated as he looked down at me, I smiled at his loyalty he had for Aro. "Maybe, maybe not, but remember this Alec. We have a lot in common then you think." I consintrated on his hand, mummbling words that he couldn't understand even with his enhance hearing. His hand started to have more color in it for it to be his human skin tone, and the warmth it radiated. He gasped at the new sight of his hand, and most definantly feeling the warmth, I stopped my mummbling as it resulted the pale cold skin to conquer the warmth his hand had.
I looked up at him to see him staring at me intently, a half smile appeared on my face. "I would have missed the warmth I felt when I was a human if I were you." I stated, "I think we should continue."We started to walk again until we finally reached my room as he was about to leave I reached out to his shoulder to stop him. He turned around to see me, I smiled as I looked down shyly and started to rub my arm. "I would be best if you don't tell anybody of what I did. Somethings are ment to be to ourselves." He nodded once then continued on his walk, then I closed the door and faced my room.
