my tears are loosening it's grip
I'm scared and lonely in the dark
the stars shine brighter with you
when you looked at me
and squinted your eyes
I wanted you to leave with me
but you stayed in a world of pain
the breeze in your hair
rode on fledgling wings
you walked like summer
and acted like the rain..
you don't belong in a vase
on a table, you are ethereal..
this heart still beats solely for you
you were too messed up
you made colours brighter and
life seem better but you were toxic
the night breeze is cold
it's biting into my skin
and I feel broken for
walking away without you
by my side..
