bloodshed all over the place
the scars of Africa
broken hearts and restless souls
we shed a tear..
white supremacy
has take over our land
poverty, crime and narcotics
the death of the youth
the scars of Africa
Africa stand up!
we scream out the word "unite"
but are we really united?
we criticise each other
for we were taught to preach "hatred"
from the heavens above
"black was never enough"
our families torn into pieces
poverty is breaking us down
my letter to the heavens
enchanting in the sweet melodies
of the birds chirping..
deep down in the jungles of Africa
I scream "let's unite and break down poverty"
