I laid my eyes on your lovely self
my heart felt a bit warmer while
my face felt so numb..
your smile somehow cracked
a hole open in my heart
where I would love to keep you...
I still remember how delicate
your skin felt against my lips
when I first kissed your cheek..
I still remember the way you
rubbed your fingers against my scars, curiously asking about them..
I still remember how your first
touch felt against my brown skin
I never thought you'd leave me
