when i met you back in 10th grade
you sang short rhymes and
danced at twinkling jingles,
like the kids all around
you loved to mingle..
the stars shined bright
in the night sky
but when i looked at your eyes
they shined brighter..
brighter than the stars itself..
you were the rain that fell
drips and drops all night
you made me all flowers
blooming my wings and dews
like pearls when you touched me..
I needed you the most but instead
you decided to leave me all alone
in an empty house full
of all my ghosts looking for you..
