The beating of my heart slows down
The thoughts in my mind humble me
The ropes in my room are seen as
Decorations around my slim neck
The taste of death seems soothing
For I have been hurt too many times
The wind outside starts hitting too hard
The moonlight slowly fades away
With the chair underneath me
It was all for you
Stop all the clocks
Allow the birds to fly freely
Let my soul find happiness
The pain of losing you has been
Feeding on my heart for too long
During dark and windy days
I still stood strong
Like the Marula tree with roots
That tighten during stormy nights
With lightnings lighting up
The heavy saturated sky
Thunders emitting loud sounds
Fear crippling through my thoughts...
Allow me to die for you
Because I can't be myself without you..
