Rellick stayed for the funeral, but not for much longer, as he still had an obligation to the clergy to protect their men. Having retrieved most of the statues, they traveled back to the unfinished temple to complete it, installing the statues and their altars, while Rellick stood guard outside.

Had he been a holy man, Rellick might have understood the dreams he had in that place, as such things plagued his nights in a curious manner. But he said nothing, nor believed them to be anything more than dreams.

There were several more shaman attacks while the temple was finished, and the more they looked, the more destruction was found from while they were away. This meant Rellick mostly had a full time job of scaring their attackers off, and that it lasted longer due to repairs needing to be done. Ultimately it was decided that a small village would be built around it as more guards and members of the clergy arrived. When the temple and its village were fully completed and stocked with guards, Rellick finally allowed himself to return home so he could invite a certain ent over for tea.
