It is now 3rd week of school.
Only one week away from the aptitude test. Thinking about even makes my hands and knees feel shaky.
We're all starting to get assignments and more homework since it is almost going to be one month into the school year.
It is Monday and I am sitting in homeroom. Everyone doesn't notice me like usual instead they all whisper and talk to all of the people next to them.
Then the bell rang and we all walked out but before I could walk out of the classroom and arm grabbed my left arm and pulled me back.
It then pulled me around.
The teacher looked me straight in the eyes.
"Here come...sit." She pointed to a chair that was I front of her desk.
We both walked over and I sat down in the chair and she sat down at the desk.
"I just wanted to ask you....is...is there anything that you need to discuss?"
She asked.
"Uh, no ma'am."
"Oh well. I just wondered why you don't talk to any of the other classmates."
I looked at the ground below then looked up back at her.
"Is there a reason you don't by any chance?"
"Oh...I just don't really feel comfortable talking to people."
I felt a little nervous but I fought against the feeling.
"Oh...okay. That's all I needed to know tris. Now run along and have a nice day!" She smiled at me and I smiled back.
I put my book bag on and walked out the door. When I walked down the hallway with about a ton of kids around me in every direction I thought about what the teacher had said and asked me. It actually surprised me, no teacher has ever made me stay back after class before and had never talked to me and be concerned about that.
It was strange.
Between 3rd and 4th period when I was a couple books out of my locker, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned my head and saw Brooklyn standing behind me.
"Hey!" She said hugging me.
"Oh hey Brooklyn." I said smiling at her.
Me and Brooklyn have talked a lot ever since we first met. Now she is my best friend and I am that of hers.
"I just came back from the worst class in history." Brooklyn laughed.
I laughed a little too. Brooklyn tells real good jokes.
"Though I really like the teacher...I hate the subject." She sighed.
"I know how you feel but I actually like history. It's pretty interesting to learn about before you were on the earth."
"Yeah....right."
Suddenly I heard a peppy laugh nearby.
"Oh no." Brooklyn sighed holding her forehead.
"What is it?"
"It's her!" Brooklyn pointed over to a girl with fancy clothes on walking the direction we are in.
When she got to right beside of Brooklyn she stopped and looked at her.
"Brooklyn...yuck."
Brooklyn made a disgusted face at her.
The girl then tossed her long shiny brown hair back and started too walk ahead.
"Who was that?" I asked.
"That was Arielle. Too her and lots of other people they thinks she's the
Bellwether of this school. But really to me, she just another jerky girl that thinks she's got all but nope... She's just another skinny swig."
"She does seem like that."
"That's because she is!!!!!"
"Well I have to be going to 4th period.
Language arts. Bye."
"Bye. I'll see you later."
---
In language arts the teacher told us to start on a project that's due this Friday.
We have to tell about when we were little and we have to include a picture of when we were little.
A image soon popped into my head shortly after I heard that.
I was 10 years old and my parents wanted to take a nice picture of me in our house. In the picture I wore a white shirt. I had on a jean- blue headband in my braided hair that went all the way down it.
I thought it was a very nice picture and It is my favorite picture that was ever taken if me. I don't have the picture with me but I do have it at home on the table next to my bed.
This is is going to be the first project that I'm going to get excited over.
