The dinner wasn't fun. I mean, it was somehow fun because of Regine who kept on telling jokes and secretly kept on making fun of people. Noong bata pa kami, she loves doing this, too. 20 years after, gano'n pa rin kami. Regine never changed and that is why love her.

Buong dinner, all they did is talk about the marriage and the rules. The only thing that I remembered out of all of those is that the aim of the marriage is to merge two of the biggest companies in the Philippines to beat SGM Incorporation which has been on the top of the game for 10 years now. To outdo the biggest company that supplies product around the globe. I don't get the need of us marrying each other. My dad has earned enough money for us. So why would we have to do this?

Na hindi ko naman nakikita sa ngayon. I don't see myself working in and for the company. I'd want to see myself sitting down my chair, signing my popular books, and a lot of people falling in line to see me. Ambisyosa ako pero ayaw ko ng kumpanya.

I brought the glass of wine with me outside the house. Parang naninikip ang dibdib ko every time I look into their eyes. Naninikip ang dibdib ko every time they mention something about the wedding. I'm sure I did hear something about a grand church wedding. Tsk.

"'Di dapat wine iniinom mo, eh. Tara tequila?"

I looked behind me and saw Regine holding her own glass of wine, "Shut up, Reg."

"You're tensed."

"Kanina pa," I replied and turned around once more. Wala naman na talaga akong makita sa labas dahil nga madilim but I find this relaxing lalo na 'yong mga bituin sa langit. I wish I was one of them na lang. Para hindi na ako nahihirapan dito.

"Tara, alis tayo. Takasan natin silang lahat."

I shook my head and sipped on the glass, "If only we could, Reg."

"On the brighter side... ang pogi no'ng kambal. Aba. Kung ako sa'yo... papatulan ko na. Huwag kang mao-offend, ah-"

"Pero mao-offend pa rin ako for sure," I cut her off.

"Oo, sige. Mas pogi sina Miguel kaysa sa boyfriend mo."

I rolled my eyes at that. The moment she reached the dining area earlier, her eyes darted on the twins and I could see them sparkling like diamonds. Nakakaloka.

"Whatever you say, hater."

"Totoo nga! Tsaka mabango, sis!" she giggled, "Kanino ka na nga kasi ikakasal? Kay Aga? 'Yong naka-puti, 'no? Akin na lang 'yong naka-itim. Napakapogi!"

"Kung gusto mo, sa'yo na pareho. Saksak mo silang pareho sa baga mo," I snickered, "Iyong-iyo na."

"Galit na galit ka naman, girl. Kalma mo 'yan."

I shook my head and just looked at her, "Hindi ko yata kaya 'to, Reggie. I haven't spoken to Paulo yet about this pushing through."

"It's best if he comes over para you'd talk personally. Mahirap mag-usap through phone."

"Yeah, may plano siyang pumunta dito pero narinig mo naman si Daddy kanina, 'di ba? He told me that he doesn't want to hear something about me and Pau seeing each other. Kasi nga, makakasira ng reputasyon."

Regine smirked and tapped my shoulder, "Ano pa't nandito ako, Lea, 'di ba? Nandito pinakamabangis mong pinsan. I got you covered. Sabihan mo lang ako."
