The next morning, September 24, 2047, Jessica wakes up and gets out of the bed, and looks at the clock. 7:54 A.M, and proceeds to get ready for her Presidential Duties for the day. She walks over to the closet and puts on some formal clothing. She then heads to the bathroom to put on her makeup. She finally puts on her high heels and heads out of the bedroom, and instead of heading out to the Oval Office, she heads to the Dining Room, to eat breakfast for once.

She sits down, along with her children, who also woke up a little bit later after her. She greets them and they wait for their food to arrive. The food arrives and they eat their breakfast. After that, she heads out of the dining room, and heading back to the Oval Office, at the same time, her chief of staff walks up to her.

CS - "Madam President, we have the acting cabinet ready for the meeting, however, they are not official Cabinet members. They need to be confirmed by the Senate, until then, they will be acting Secretaries."

J - "Alright, thank you, Mr. Chief of Staff, you may go back to your post, I will go see them now."

She goes to the Cabinet Room, in the West Wing of the White House, and the Cabinet Secretaries are sitting at the table.

J - "Hello, you obviously know me as the President of the United States, and you will serve in my Cabinet until you are confirmed by the Senate when it is up and running again."

John Majors, the Acting Secretary of State, stands up, and walks to Jessica and they both shake hands.

JM - "It is an honor working with you, Madam President. I am so sorry about your loss. I was the Deputy Secretary of State during your husband's administration, but this is still his administration. Until you win the '48 election, and become President in your own right, this will be your administration."

J - "Thank you, Mr. Secretary, those are some very wise words. He told me once that you gave him advice to help negotiate the end of the Syrian Civil War."

JM - "Yes, Madam President, you are right about that, I did give him advice on that."

All the other Cabinet Secretaries stand up, and all walk up to her, and shakes her hand, and says one good thing about her late husband. They all sit down in their chairs, and begin the meeting.
