Around 30 minutes later, she ends the press conference and quickly heads to the Oval Office, and sits down on the couch, and rests. Her children, who are quietly sitting beside her, they all hug each other, mourning their father and husband's death. They stay on the couch for a while. 20 minutes later, the Turkish Ambassador to the United States walk into the Oval Office, surrounded by USSS agents.
TA - "Hello, Madam President, my name is [Turkish sounded name here], and I was sent by my government to negotiate an end to this war between our two nations. I am so sorry to hear about what happened to your government."
J - "Thank you, Mr. Ambassador. Even though it has been two days since I was sworn in as the 50th President, it has been a stressful 2 days, hopefully this will get some stress off my back."
TA - "Yes, Madam President, we do not have to start the negotiations right this second, we could start the negotiations at the United Nations headquarters in New York City. How does that sound?"
J - "I believe that sounds good. The UN can preside over our meeting, and make sure nothing goes wrong."
TA - "Well, then Madam President, I will leave you be for now. We shall start the negotiations hopefully by next week."
J - "Alright, Mr. Ambassador. I will order my fleet to start to their withdrawal from the Turkish Straits and the Golden Horn."
With that, the Ambassador leaves and she still sits there, on the couch, wondering if she should withdrawal completely from the Straits, or keep some ships there, for a temporary patrol, incase something happens or something goes wrong.
She gets up, and leaves the Oval Office, and walk down the hallway, and heads downstairs and heads to the executive residence of the White House. She walks into the bedroom, and heads to the bathroom, and takes off her glasses, and stares at herself in the mirror, wondering whether or not what choice she wants to make. She stares at herself for a good 15 minutes, before getting in her nightgown, and heading off to bed. It was a stressful 2 days of being the President of the United States. Another 1 year, 4 months, and 28 days to go before she leaves office, or she will run and hopefully win the election of 2048.
She gets into her bed, and turns off the light, takes off her glasses, and falls asleep.
Approximately an hour later, a USSS agent knocks on her door. She wakes up, puts on her glasses, and looks at the clock, and turns on her light. It is around 3 in the morning. She only slept for an hour.
J - "Oh, this better be something crucial."
She heads to the door and opens it.
SSA - "I am sorry to wake you, Madam President, but we need your leadership in the Oval Office, please come with me."
J - "Alright, I will be in there in 5 minutes."
