melanin in my skinwhite folks look at me as if I am a sin
I'm black and I'm proud
nothing that you could change about
accept that I'm beautiful
I am a queen
that's all I in a mirror can see
I love my curls, I love my coils
I love my texture
I live for the curves on my bod
I cannot be flat and monotonous
I was marinated, seasoned, and cleaned
I'm something different
Not to compare with your flavourless chicken, nah
I'M BLACK AND I'M PROUD

Even though the poem speaks for itself. I wanted to clarify that all of my race/color related poems are not to shade anybody. It's just how people in this situation feel.
