David watched the mist retreat from him. The thick fog slowly dissipating into thin air. His surroundings are completely different from the campfire. He was in a forest but he knew this was different. He looked around spotting a run down house. The house was being reclaimed by nature vines grew up its walls and threatened to rip it apart. Soft rain began to hit his face and a cold chill ran down his spine. 'Better warm up' he thought as he walked slowly to the abandon structure.

He walked through the doorway with no door to see what seemed to be a living space. A fire was lit in the firepit. A table was set in front of it. The floor was covered with debris. 'Someone was here, the fire is still going strong'. He walked closer to the flames extending his hands to feel the warmth.

David began to hear a faint humming coming from outside. Some sort of lullaby from what he could tell. It slowly grew louder. His heart began to beat faster. The humming grew louder and he could hear the sound of footsteps getting closer. His heart pounded in his chest as he saw a tall figure walk through the doorway. He stood there paralyzed. The figure stopped noticing David. The humming stopped as the figure drew closer.

David could start making out small detail. The faint glow of the fire illuminated the face. A slight smile was plastured on it. His heart was going crazy. He noticed the figure was wearing overalls with a shirt tucked into it. As it drew nearer he could see its face. It was a woman. She had a bunny mask covering her upper face and a veil covering her hair. Her smile widened as she reached behind her David looked down and saw the giant axe she was wielding. Blood stained all over the head. He looked up just as a hatchet nearly caught his head and landed into the wood wall behind him. The woman frowned at her miss. She reached around again as David made a run for it up the staircase to his right. She quickly chased after him. David looked for a possible exit. A window was open and he decided it was his best shot. He ran as fast as he could hearing the woman grow closer and closer.

David flung himself out the window falling a story on his arm. A loud snap was heard and david grunted and muffled his screams with his sleeve. He looked up at the woman staring down at him she gave him a smile and retreated back into the house. David knew he needed to run. She would be on him in seconds.

Dwight was finishing the last of the circuit board on a generator before him. As he finished he heard a loud grunt and sobs of pain behind him. He spun on his heals. He saw David running twords him slipping and sliding in mud. He was holding his arm with a pale face, his eyes large in horror. Dwight ran to him wrapping an arm around David and helped the man sit down for a second behind a wall.

"The bloody bitch was throwing hatchets at me, nearly got me to but I jumped out a window and I think I broke my arm. What in the fuck is going on Dwight?" David said in a pained whisper.

"I have no clue I've never seen her before and haven't even been to this place." Dwight stated as he reached into his back pocket a pulled out gauze and started tightly bandaging around his broken arm to try and keep it in place. He knew what was happening. When a new person comes to the fire another monster joins them. This was a conversation for later. For now he needed to help David with his pain.

"Try not to move it to much for now." Dwight said finishing up the last of his gauze. He looked at David who was already staring at Dwight.

"Thanks mate, care to explaine wh-" David stopped when a scream rang out. It was one of a girl. Dwight's face darkened.

"Not now I need to help. Come with me." Dwight said in a shaky but firm voice. He grabbed hold of David's wrist and pulled him up. Leading him to the nearest locker.

"Get in and don't come out until I get back." Dwight said as he opened the doors. David looked at him. He doesn't like getting bossed around but right now he doesnt know what else to do. David nodded and stepped in Dwight closed the doors and sprinted off in the direction of his friends screams.

David stood in the locker not knowing what to do. He played back against the wall and felt an instant jab of pain. He turned his head to see hatches hanging from the wall of the locker. Just the thought of one of them burying into his flesh gave him chills. This wasn't normal behavior for him. 'I'm David King, I beat the shit out of men just for looking at me' he thought 'why am I scared of some broad I could easily take this bitch down'.

Screams rang in his ear again this time it was male. It was Dwight's. He could tell. David's heart dropped once more. He tried thinking of what to do. He needed to help him. Somehow. He looked through the slits of the locker. Cold air blowing on his face as he slowly stepped out. Another scream rang out. 'Fuck' he turned quickly and grabbed hold of a hatchet. He ran twords the screams. He had to do something.

As David approached where he heard Dwight he saw as the woman pinned him onto the ground. Using her foot as leverage stomping him down each time he tried getting up. Hatchets were buried into the mans side and shoulder. He whimpered in pain. Dwight looked at the woman. A large grin on her face. She reached down and pulled the hatches out from his side and should causing Dwight to scream again. David waited for his chance to strike. The woman leaned down and picked Dwight up. She turned and began to walk with him. David thought this was a good time as any. He ran as fast as he could twords the two. Dwight looked up at David his eyes widening. David jumped up and buried the hatchet deep into the womans back. She began to scream in pain and frustration dropping Dwight. David took the chance and grabbed Dwight throwing him over his own shoulder and began to run away. The woman glared as she pulled the hatchet out from her back and flung it burying itself in David's spine. David cried out in pain and fell Dwight tumbled as David landed on him. David managed to roll off only to have the hatches bury itself deeper in his back.

"I told you to stay in the locker David." Dwight said with a pained look in his eye as he turned to David.

"I wanted to help you. You were screaming an-" David began but an axe buried itself deep into Dwight's skull cracking it into too. The woman howled with laughter. As david began to scream at the sight. She turned to him and gave a smile. She raised her Axe and all David saw before everything went dark was an axe buried deep in his chest.
