It is the year 2025. I am Cassie Onno, age 31.  After dominating the entire world, the Cult Of The Old Ones and their individual Gods, they created a new government where they rule in power. They gave everyone control of their minds back. Trying to fight back would be futile, but that doesn't mean I forgive them for making me do what I did to my brother. If only I was there to help him, he could've survived. I always hope that he did but it would be impossible due to the circumstances. Today was Judging Day. At the end of the week, we all have to give away the food that we collected from the hunt we did earlier that day. It seemed each week, they demanded more meat from whatever mutants still stalk these lands. The main leader of the Cult, Vazatoth, was by far the most greedy and evil. It was him, who had been soul bonded to Cthulhu. He demanded even more for him and his Old One than all the others. 3 of the 10 other cult members had already been killed by him when they staged a coup to overthrow him. Those who supported the three had all been killed and sacrificed to Cthulhu. On that one night, 3 old ones, Xaztoth, Iacnuiz'kexz, and Aiuv'axh'koss were all savagely destroyed by Vazatoth and his Old One. It was clear that Cthulhu was the most powerful being to ever come on this earth. But with his extreme power, Vazatoth feared that the other Old Ones would rise up. 1 Old One had never been seen before and it was rumored that its powers could defeat Cthulhu. It was going to be judging time soon and I had better be prepared with my crops. 3 hours later, I was lined up to be judged. Sitting atop his massive throne sat Uc'thabbir, the incarnation of hatred. He took every chance he could to kill and eat a human. If we could prove ourselves, we could move up the ranks. I had moved up from sector D before, but that was probably luck. Uc'thabbir only saw us as food, only letting those who can show themselves godlike in ability past. At best he would let me live. It was also rumored that, once people have moved up past sector C, it would suggest that they had a strong support for the Old Ones. Many people believed that, by keeping people out of the higher ranks, less would support Cthulhu if Uc'thabbir ever tried to rise up. All I had to do now was try my hardest, as impossible as it seemed, to get into Uc'thabbir's good graces.
