Error was out of breath. He was out and about, balancing creation and destruction. It was obvious that Ink would come and fight him.

Error noticed something during the fight. He has seen every possible eye color/shape combination, but Ink's were pure red ovals. His usual red eyes looked like red outlines with red dots surrounding it. Eventually, Ink stopped fighting.

Error gladly stopped his attacks. Instead, he asked the little creator a question. "aRe yOu OkAy?"

"... What do you mean?" Ink replied. His eyes became blank space. It put Error on edge.

"YOu knOw wHat i mEAn, InK. whY hAve yOu MadE sO mAnY HalF-AuS?"

"... I'm sick."

"NOw thAt's a liE."

"I'm not lying!" Ink's eyes turned into a green triangle and an orange triangle. They glitched between the solid red ovals.

"InK!?"

"Something's...happening to me. I don't have enough time!"

"whAt dO yOu meAN?"

"I just want to say I'm sorry!" Error was speechless. "I knew about why you do what you do! I just couldn't believe it! I'm so stupid...please..." Ink's eyes turned to tear drops. "I want another chance, but I know I don't deserve it...."

"InK, iT's oKay," Error said, a slight smile touching his face. "i wOuLdn't bElIEvE mE eItHEr."

"But I should've! And now I'm paying for it!"

"agAIn, wHat dO yOu mEaN?"

"Error, I didn't want this to happen. Something inside of me has changed. I don't want to hurt anyone!"

Error watched as Ink's tear ridden eyes glitched out, replaced by cold, red ovals. "...heh...heh..."

"INk? thIs iSn'T fUnnY!"

"Oh, but it is~" Ink said. Ink's right eye socket started bleeding excessively. Error noticed Ink's voice was now more deeper pitched than what he recognized as his voice.

"whAt tHe— wHo arE yOu?!" Error demanded.

Ink looked offended. "Don't you recognize me? I'm still Ink~ but I'm better than that old goody-two-shoes creator. Call me Corrupt."

"yoU sAy iT lIkE iT's a gOod tHinG." Error immediately knew he could not trust Corrupt.

"It is, well, for me anyway~"

Error tried to leave. He opened a portal to Nightmare's place, No use in not telling them he figured, but never stepped through it.

"No you don't." Corrupt stabbed Error quicker than he can teleport. Error felt his blood soak through his shirt. He brought his trembling hands around the thing that stabbed him. It's a...pencil? he wondered. He was quickly losing consciousness.

Corrupt pulled the gigantic pencil out of Error's chest. Error stumbled through his portal and arrived in the living room of the "Bad Sanses'" hide out and collapsed. He closed his portal so that Corrupt could not follow. He covered his wound with both his hands. Oddly enough, seeing his own blood pile on the carpeted floor soothed him.

Dying was the least of his worries. He had to figure out what happened to Ink. And he could not do that in his current state. He grudgingly pushed himself off the floor and limped into the kitchen. He leaned himself on the wall with a loud thud. The wall was not enough to keep him upright so he slid down to the floor.

The pain finally caught up to him. He groaned loudly. He felt his own eyes well up with tears. He let them run down his face; he feared letting go of the wound.

He knew somebody finally noticed him, but he did not know who. His vision was blurring. He heard someone ask about his wound. "INk... iS... hE Is," was all he managed to say.

Gone

He could not say it. He tried to, but could not. He felt another jolt of pain and blacked out.
