Today was school. I got dressed in to my clothes, while Free lazed around on the sofa. "You going to school?" I let out a muffled 'yes,' while stuffing an apple into my mouth. "Want me to go with you?" I took the apple out my mouth and stared at him. "Do you really think that's a good idea?" He looked at me quizzically. "If you really want, I guess you could. Just try not to shout or grab any more attention then necessary." He smiled and put an arm around my shoulder. "Let's go then." We left the house, and I locked the door. We were wandering around the streets, grabbing the unneeded attention of passersby regularly. We were nearing the park, when once again Valt had to be there. "Cmon Valtryek! We can still win this!" I started walking past, but he saw me. "Aw man! You're really good Shu! Wait! isn't that Raven?" I started hurriedly walking, until Free grabbed my arm in a strong hold. "I want to meet him." I looked up, to meet his stern gaze. I shook my head and gave him a pleading look. "Raven." He spoke harshly. I gulped and took back my lazy composition. "Hey Raven!" I tilted my head and smiled weakly at Valt. "Free De La Hoya?" Shu asked quietly, from his position to the side of Valt. He nodded. "You are?"     "Valt Aoi!" Valt grinned proudly. "I'm Shu Kurenai. Nice to meet you." Free nodded. "Wait who are you?" Valt asked. Shu sweat dropped, while I just sighed. I thought Free would have sighed too, but to my surprise he just gave a small smile towards the unknowing boy. "Free. Free De La Hoya. Nice to meet you kid." Valt grinned. "Nice to meet you too! Hey Raven! Wanna walk with us to school?" I tilted my head and gave him a tired nod. "Alright! Let's go." We were all walking to school, earning gasps, glares and murmurs from the crowds we passed. "Hey Shu." Shu gave him a 'hmm' and looked his direction. "How did you know Free's name?" Shu sighed. "Do you want to tell him?" Free nodded. "I'm the number one blader in the world kid." Valt gasped. "NO WAY!" He yelled, causing us to place our hands over our precious ears. "How do you know him Raven?" I gave a fearful glance to Free, before speaking. "I'm showing him around Beigoma City. He's participating in the Internationals. He's from Spain, so I volunteered to take him." Valt nodded. "Cool. Say Free. Are you attending Beigoma Academy as well?" Free shook his head. "Nah." He yawned. "Okay Free. Bye." I spoke leisurely. "Here's the keys. Please don't make a mess br... I mean De La Hoya." I chucked him the keys, while he just nodded and waved goodbye. "Bye Little Deer. Bye new kids." He pulled me into a quick hug. I returned it gently, before he turned and gave a wave of his hand. Valt grinned and took both mine and Shu's hands. "Valt what are you doing?" I asked utterly confused. "We're gonna go train!" He shouted, a bit quieter than before. I shrugged my shoulders, while Shu sighed. We made our way into the building, before being stopped by the principle and the gang. "Ah. Valt Aoi, Shu Kurenai, and... Miss Raven. Just the people I needed to see. Raven please meet me in my office. For the rest of you, you are free to just train all day on school premises. No lessons." Valt looked like he was going to explode, while Shu looked shocked. "Sir?" The principle twirled his moustache. "Internationals are coming up, and there's a team competition. The Supreme Four are already entered in, but one more member is allowed to participate for Japan. That's why, you'll all be training to see which one out of you is the strongest. Please take care and notify me of the winner by the end of the school day. That is all. You are all dismissed. Miss Raven please would you be so kind as following me?" I nodded and took of after him, leaving the others behind to cheer and argue. We entered his office in a few minutes. "Please. Take a seat." I did as told, and sat opposite him. "I bet you're wondering why you're here. Well Miss, you I believe, are participating in the Internationals, as joint number one blader in the world. You will be on Japan's team yes?" I looked at him a bit stunned, but nodded nonetheless. "Well, I would like your permission on whether or not you would like the school to know beforehand, on your participation in the team and individual rounds." I looked at him for a while, before making my decision. "Sorry Sir. But I would like the school to know, when the Internationals tell them." He nodded. "That's fine with us." He smiled. "You are dismissed. Please enjoy the rest of your day. You do not have to participate in the lessons today either. Enjoy." I gave him a noticeable smile, and walked off to train with the others. I was making my way up the stairs to the roof, when I heard voices. They were arguing nonstop, and it was getting irritating. I opened the door and tilted my head. "What are you doing?" Everyone stopped to look at me, before mentally calming down, and moving away from each other. "These idiots think they have a chance of getting into the Internationals, it I'm ready to show them, it's not going to happen." Wakiya scoffed. Shu sighed and went to train, while the others complained to me. "This pompous jerk thinks he can beat me and the rest, when..."  Rantaro started, until. "Such big words for such a small mind." Wakiya teased. Rantaro's face started to heat up, when Daigo stepped in between. "Shut up you blondes!" He yelled slightly, making both blonde boy's stare at him in shock. Shu could be heard scoffing from afar. "We all have an equal chance of winning the spot of Japan team, but at this rate, we won't even be able to battle to prove it. So would you please stop your whining, and start preparing who you're going up against. Shu's already in, so we're not going to disturb him while he's training. Now let's decide." Daigo huffed. The gang was silent, while I gave a kind smile to the emo boy and smirked. 'Let the games begin.'

*Timeskip past training*

It had been nonstop hours of training, and finally we were on the last battle. It was Valt Vs Daigo. They got into their stances, and it was time.

"Let it Rip!"

Dark Doomscizor and Victory Valtryek zoomed round the stadium, clashing into each other continuously. It wasn't until about the fiftieth time, that Doomscizor was sent flying up towards my face. I placed up my gloves arm lazily, and deflected the flying bey. It met with my arm, and I could feel the muscles in it tense, and the bone dent. I bit my tongue harshly and muffled a raging scream. I slowly moved down my arm, and pulled up my glove, making sure it was covering my scars. I felt something gather in it, when I realised one of my scars had started to bleed. I panicked, and gave Doomscizor back to Daigo, before sprinting down the stairs. I couldn't let them see me like this, so I ran all the way to the nurses. I fell into the door, opening it in the process. I quickly regained my posture and gave a quick cough. The nurse got up from her desk around the corner, and hurried over. "Oh. Hello dear. What's wrong?" I was about to take off my glove, when a knock at the door stopped me. "Sorry Miss, but I need to talk to my friend." It was Daigo. He had run all the way after me. I felt my cheeks heat up for a second, before turning around slowly. My cheeks cooled down and I offered the boy a quivering smile. He gave me a look of regret and spoke with trembling words. "Did I hurt you?" He almost cried out. I shook my head quickly, while he sniffled. "Then why are you here?!" He shouted. I looked at him shock, before I made out a few tears starting to appear in his eyes. "Daigo?" I whispered he looked up at me with his glassy eyes, and ran up to me. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders, making sure not to touch my arm, while sniffling. I gradually wrapped my arms around his waist and he pulled me close. "Tell me please. Did I hurt you?" He whispered kindly into my ear. I gulped and nuzzled my head into his shoulder. He tensed up, before letting me openly. He rubbed lines on my back and whipped his eyes on a sleeve. He slowly pulled back and took my hands in his. I could feel a few tears gather in my eyes too, but I tried to stop them. He seemed to notice, and a guilty look spread across his face. "I did." He cried. Tears started to drop slowly from his eyes, and his guilty look turned to horror. I shook my head carefully and beckoned him to sit down with me. He obliged, and I spoke quietly to him. "It's not that. It's just, you're making me feel guilty, for making you cry and worry so much. It might also be tears of happiness. Happiness that you care so much about me." A light pink spread itself across his cheeks, and he sniffled again. "I'm really sorry though. For hurting you, whether you admit it or not, I know it injured your arm. Please forgive me?" He looked over and offered a kind smile. I returned it within a second, and pulled him in for another hug. "It's fine Daigo. You didn't mean to, and it was already injured anyway. Please don't worry, I forgive you." He moved back and wiped away the remaining tears from both our eyes. I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, and both our faces lit up with an obvious red. His maybe more so. He stood up and waved a quick goodbye. "See you later girl." He walked out, and I heard a small sniffle behind me, then a blow. I turned to see the nurse blowing her nose. "Beautiful. Young love is truly beautiful." I blushed deeply. I shook my head, and rubbed the back of it nervously, while she asked me what I needed. I took off my glove to reveal the many scars that took over my lower arm. She gave a violent gasp and starting gathering everything she would need to clean this mess up. Dry blood covered the area around it, while a fresh lot started coming out the top of one near the bottom of my lower arm. She grimaced and started to clean up the mess in a hurry. In the quick, but painful process, I had let out a great many roars of outrage. She winced and eventually, it was gone. I gave a sigh of relief and so did she. "That was a nasty one, but you're free to go now Miss." I stood up, and was about to place my glove back on, when I remembered it was soaked in blood. "Is there any chance, I can get a bandage for my arm? I don't like people seeing the scars, I prefer to keep them hidden." She nodded sadly and grabbed a long bandage. She wrapped it round my arm, and I was finally free to go. "Thanks." I spoke calmly, while walking out the door. I made my way back to the roof, and took a deep breath. 'You can do this Raven.'
