I am often known for writing "Why He Couldn't Save Her", a story about a broken boy who blames himself for losing the girl he loved the most and learns to live his life on without her. It is currently at 4K reads and 1k votes, the last time I had ever logged onto Wattpad, it was at 2.1k reads so it practically doubled!
I am also known for writing "The Girl Who Couldn't Speak", a story about a mute girl who lives her life without a voice and she is bullied throughout her life. Her only form of communication is through writing on pieces of paper. It is a sad narrative that takes place in a school setting majority of the time. The person who she aspires to be with is the very person who protects her from her childhood bully. There is also selective extra parts that portray the antagonist's point of view neat the end of the story. This story currently stands at 2.4K reads and only 441 votes! It had taken me about three months to gather those readers since I also had writer's block for a short period of time after it was released.
I never thought I would have made this much progress on my first and second short story, but time and patience really makes the difference in the entire world. Finding that happy medium was really hard for me until my life style changed for the better. I always made a goal for myself and did my best to achieve it. At the end of the day, I could pat myself on the shoulder. I could feel proud and accomplished that I did something productive for myself. That is by far a million times better than wallowing in the deepest pit of depression and anxiety for what in my life was to come.
I hope to have the same progress with this story. If you have family members or friends who are a fan of reading horror and a little bit of mystery, feel free to show them this story. I am sure they would love the gore and to read the details of terror.
Sincerely from yours truly,
Yuan S.C.
