It was the year 1910, Wendy gripped onto her parasol as she quickened her pace, behind her the parasol nipped and tapped at her heels. Today was a chilly and cloudy night in London, England. The clouds began to darken even more this morning. Large pillow of clouds in the color of gravel grey were forming, wanting to block out each bit of sunlight. Wendy's boots clicked on the cobblestone pathway as she passed the library that Mr. Gibbs, a friend of her fathers owned. Then there was the bakery that always smelled heavenly. Their windows were always full of lovely treats in pinks and creams, various cakes and Danish pastries. Hundreds of business men with talk black hats swarmed around her and women walking along, picking up there dresses so it wouldn't get smudged with dirt. Everyone was swarming around her trying to get to home or to work. As she turned at the corners of one of the streets, two horse drawn carriages tumbled past her, Wendy stepped aside quickly. Careful as to make sure the water didn't get on her dress. Wendy wore a pretty cream colored dress and had on some maroon stocking underneath while wearing some rustic brown boots. The wind flushed on her face, her blue ribbons blowing about behind her. She turned to another corner to Bloomsbury street as she then saw her house. It was a little town, apartments all lined up in a row with a park in the middle. She smiled happily as she finally made it home. She started walking towards the little stone path that led to a black door, she gripped on to the doorknob and wen inside. She was happily greeted by her nanny who was named Liza. She was wearing a white and black work suit, her brown hair pulled up into a tight bun."Hello dear, how was school?" She said as a smile appeared." On the usuall. Boring and tiring." Wendy said as she smiled. She loved Liza. When she was younger kids would always cheer her up when she was sad. Brining I'm a tray of chocolate cushion cookies. Wendy saw Liza chuckle." We'll go get your self cleaned up. Dinner will be ready soon." Liza said
