Run.hide.Run. That's all Wendy thought as she ran through the thick, dense jungle. Where to hide though? What do I do? She ran deeper in the jungle, branches were scraping against her skin and flashes of gold and verdant green was sweeping past her. Her heart was racing, as if it were about to jump straight from her chest. She suddenly stopped and looked around. Wasn't she here before? Her eyes darted across the foreign bushes and trees. We're will she hide? What does she do? She heard voices out in the distance. The lost children. She started to feel dizzy and her limbs started to tremble. The whole world surrounding her started to move more quickly, she placed her hand on one of the trunks of the trees that she saw Beside we to steady her self. What do I do? What do I do? Her heart was racing. She heard more voices as her instinct was to run, even though it was about to feel like she was going to fall right on the ground. More dizziness. The world was moving about her so fast. She couldn't see were she was going. I can't, I can't control it. She suddenly felt someone grab her arm tightly and pull her behind a rock." Hey it's okay, it's okay." She heard a vice but it was muffled as she couldn't think clearly. Who are you ?! She wanted to yell by couldn't get the right words out." M-make it stop p- please." Wendy asked as she stuttered through every word. Her heart was racing more now and her eyesight was blurred and fuzzy." Hey it's ok, your fine. I'll be right here." That wasn't pans voice. Wendy couldn't control her breathing as she felt the person grip on her tighten making sure she wouldn't fall." Hey it's ok. How about this, try to breath. Count to ten. Breathe slowly in and out." Wendy was still trembling and the world was still fuzzy around her. Ok. Breathe.count to ten. She closed her eyes slowly, blocking out any noise and focused on her breathing remembering what the person said. To breathe and count to ten. That's just what Liza would say. Wendy felt her self become calmer as her breathing was normal again and her heart wasn't beating rapidly as much. She opened her eyes as everything became clearer and not so blurred. The first thing she saw was the person. A boy. She felt the boy that was gripping her tightly let his hand loosen a bit. Wendy looked up at the boy who helped her with the panic attack as she was meant by baby blue eyes staring at her." How did you know how to do that?" She asked slowly her voice shaky still." A friend used to have panic attacks, breathing slowly and counting to ten always worked for her." The baby blue eyes boy said. Wendy looked at him in surprise." What's your name?" She said as she looked at him. He had bronzed brown hair, baby blue eyes and warm ivory colored skin. The boy had very prominent cheek bones and an oval shaped faced that was paired with brown straight eyebrows. The thing that was interesting about him the most was that there was a scar that was sliced across his cheek." Devin." Wendy looked at him." Wendy." She did her voice not as shaky anymore and more calmer. She then remembered something as she felt panic rise up in her again." Oh no what about the lake children." She said," wait aren't you a lost boy?" She said in a panicky voice." No I'm a wanderer." " a wanderer?" She said as she felt calmer a bit that he wasn't a lost boy. I've never heard of wanderers before.
