Mrs darling awoke to the sounds of laughter coming from Wendy's room." Wendy?" She said as she quietly threw her covers aside and got up, her feet touching the cold wooden floor. The house was no longer warm. Mrs darling grabs her silk pink coat as she puts it on and walks slowly towards her daughters room which she stopped at a plain white door. Once she got to the door she grasped onto the doorknob as she she opened it. She felt a sudden coldness come over her as she walked in. She saw the books and papers that where thrown on the floor and a alarm clock with shattered glass. The room was dark and the window was left open letting moonlight come through. She turned around to see if her daughter was sound asleep but realized she. Wasn't in her bed." Wendy!" She yelled in a scared frantic voice as she looked frantically around for her daughter but was no where to be found. Her eyes suddenly drip with tears, salty tears drop from her chin drenching her night dress, mrs darling leaned her head against the wall as she let out more horrifying sobs. Her daughter, gone.
