"Lets be friends", was our first,
"I guess its a goodbye", was our last.
I still remember us,
Sitting on the couch, fighting for the TV remote.

But it pains me,
To recall the long lost memories.
I don't know if you do remember me,
Without forgetting even a tiny bit.

Who am I kidding?
We are countries apart,
Like it or not,
The destiny has played us.

Look at the mirror,love,
And answer my questions,
Are you the same?
Do you regret your decisions?

For once,
You would think,
Think of our friendship that matters,
Not of the distances that separates us.

Would you like to reconcile?
Be my friend as you were,
Or let it be,
Just how it is now?

Its all gloomy and grim,
For me atleast,

This distance,
The boundary that separates us,
Made us forget,
Our moments together.
