Chapter 30: The new apartment

{A few weeks later}
{Joeys Pov}

We finished unpacking the last box. I hated leaving Meghan and David, but it was something that was bound to happen one way or another. I turned to Shane, who had sweat dripping down his face from carrying the really heavy boxes. I'm strong, sometimes I'm just lazy and will pick the small box of linens over the big box of electronics. That's all.

Shane: That's the last of them.

Joey: I cant believe we have our own apartment. Happy 1 month babe!

Shane: Happy one month anniversary.

Shane kissed my lips, and I smiled. Hes so adorable. The way his hair falls into his eyes and the way he smiles. It makes me feel warm inside.

Shane: So.. What do you want to do to celebrate?

Shane said, grabbing my shirt.

Joey: Actually, I have a pretty good idea.

I whispered into his ear. I quickly pulled away from him, jumped on the couch, and grabbed my totoro stuffed animal that was lying on the ground.

Shane: I'm too tired to do anything anyways.

Shane laid down on the couch beside me. He was sweating everywhere, even more than I do.

Joey: Geez Shane.

Shane: What? I did way more work than you did.

Joey: Whatever. You're just really yucky feeling.

I said jokingly and gently pushed his arm away from around me.

Shane: Oh you don't like my sweat, eh?

Shane wiped his face with his hand and rubbed my cheek with it.

Joey: Ew! Shaney you little jerk!

Shane: I love you too boo.

I got up and walked to the new bathroom, which had bright lights in the wall. I started to splash water in my face to wake up a little bit, and wash off. I slowly turned the faucet off as Shane wrapped his arms around me from behind me.

Shane: Wanna get dinner with some friends tonight? To celebrate?

I nodded in response, and he have me a kiss on the neck.

Joey: You need to jump your little but into the shower first, though. Stinky boy.

I laughed as I left the bathroom, and heard the shower water turn on.
