5SOS (Luke) One Shot

Luke and I had dated for 18 months now. I think he was going to propose but I wasn't entirely sure. He asked for my ring size last week.

"Selena? What are you doing tonight?"

"Nothing really, you have plans?"

"Yes actually, I'm taking you out."

"When, bae?" I asked curiously.

"6:30." He said and went back into his music studio. Little did he know that I wasn't ready to take our relationship to the next level. I wasn't really into our relationship anymore either..

**Later That Night**

Luke was acting super weird. Like he was hiding something. I really hope he didn't buy a ring.

"Selena?" He said my name softly. We were at this fancy restaurant he had taken us to.

"Yas?" I said as he gave me a small box fit for a ring. I opened it and there sat a diamond ring with a gold band.

"If you don't like it, we can take it back."

"What is this, Luke?"

"A ring?"

"No, what type is it?"

"An engagement one.." He said and I put it back in the box, then put the box in front of him.

"I'm not ready for marriage, Luke. We have dated for 18 months."

"Oh." He nodded slowly and I got up.

"I have to go. It was though, thanks."

"Yeah." And with that I got the heck out of the place. I wasn't in the mood for all this lovely dovey crap. I'm not marrying him. Especially after him being in a band. He would see to many good looking girls on tours. I didn't need to be his side girl who was just his booty call. I arrived at my apartment and sat on the couch. Luke walked in a few minutes later.

"You want to know why I want to marry you, Selena?"

"Not really. Can we just pretend it didn't happen?"

"No okay. Listen here. The reason I want to marry you is so I can call you mine. So I have proof that you are completely taken. So I don't lose you while I'm on tour because you're coming with me. I want this to be about us. You are my Plan A, I'm choosing you over everything. That includes my band." Luke left the ring box on the coffee table and walked into his room. I picked up the box and opened it. The ring was beautiful and it fit like a glove.

"Luke? Get in here and propose to me, you big goof ball!"
