Chapter 24 - Epilogue

It's been a fast 12 months. Daly and I have grown closer than ever,  absolutely and irrevocably in love.

We welcomed our son Adam into our family with excitement and love. He's almost 9 months old now and has started trying his hand at walking. He's a strong boy who's the spitting image of his father, except for his eyes. He has my eyes.

And Alex's eyes since we're twins and have the same eyes. He likes to remind Daly that every time they're around each other. Daly likes to remind Alex of how Adam, who has Alex's eyes, was conceived. Ugh. Poor Alex.

Really they love each other! No? Yeah, I know! Lol.

The integration of Jais ex pack into the other two packs went without a hitch. Only a handful of wolves decided to leave the area. The land was split evenly like I wanted. 

It's used these days by both packs members as training grounds. I implemented new training regimens to help strengthen their human sides as well as their wolves. And all she-wolves, unless breeding or have an illness, must participate.

That decree didn't go over well with some of the little princesses, cough cough, Taylor, cough cough.

She tried seducing Daly towards the end of my pregnancy, thinking he would be turned off by the size of me. She was very mistaken.

After I beat her ass, no magic, just old school, she was cast out of the pack.

Stella, Maggie and I made sure everyone understood that, to mess with a mate bond, was considered as an act of treason against the pack.

I stand at the door of Adams room, looking at Daly tucking our son in, who's fast asleep. Is there a sexier sight than that? I honestly don't think there is!

He smiles lovingly at me as he walks out, closing the door quietly. As soon as the doors closed he lifts me into his arms and carries me straight to our room. He doesn't even make it to the bed, he just pushes me against the bedroom door as he closes it. I chuckle at his impatience.

"Miss me did you love?!" I ask him when he let's me up for air. He nibbles down my neck, grinding against me and groans.

"You were gone for two days! Two! I fucking missed you babe!"

I can't stop the laugh that escapes. Two days felt like forever to be away from my mate and my son, but Alex and I had to deal with our fathers increasing levels of betrayal. Neither one of us could bring ourselves to actually kill him, so we had him transferred to the council to deal with.

I'd be lying if I said I wished he lives. He was the main cause of my mate bond breaking. We found out that he had engineered everything that had happened to me. Including the original kidnapping. The rogues were supposed to hide me, train me, and then hand me over to Jai. I still don't know why, other than owing Alpha Jax. Whatever he owed him for, nobody was able to get out of him. But the rogues messed up somehow and lost me. The magic block placed on me that hid me from my family also stopped them from finding me too.

I was disgusted when I heard all this. But Alex, poor Alex was heartbroken. He had always looked up to our dad. Loved him. And to be betrayed like that!? Yeah! Only the fact that Jesse needed him so much helped him get past it as well as he did.

Poor Jesse had a tough pregnancy. She has twins now. A boy and a girl. Alex watches his daughter like a hawk. I feel bad for the kid. Lol.

Stella had a son. Seamus. He is the cutest thing, other than my own son that is, that you'll ever see. Blonde, blue eyed and chubby. He looks like an angel!

Maggie found out she's breeding. Almost halfway through now. She was not happy about it at the beginning. She's a warrior. She didn't like the thought of being sidelined. But Brady was so excited that she's now come around. Also I reminded her that she'll be back to training in under 5 months.

Vince found his mate. She was from Jais old pack. She almost rejected him because she was 'used goods'. Jai had her and a couple other she-wolves locked up to use for his pleasure. I almost wish I hadn't killed him so fast now. It was too good a way for him to die! Thankfully she was convinced to give him a chance. She found she was breeding just a week ago. They're both over the moon.

Carter is, well, Carter! He's still running through whichever she-wolf will have him, and a surprising amount still do. He stays away from humans and only she-wolves that have already been mated before. Happily he's not running through packs deflowering virgins!

Daly still hates him! Carter doesn't help the situation by flirting excessively with me whenever we cross paths.

I was brought out of my thoughts when Daly sucked on my mark, causing my eyes to roll back in ecstasy. He didn't bother removing any of my clothes except to raise my skirt and rip off my panties. He barely dropped his own pants, just enough for his hard on to spring free.

When he finally slammed into me we both groaned in happiness. Having Daly inside me was home. I could be anywhere in the world but if Daly was seated inside me, then I was home! We were too impatient to make it last long, both just chasing our orgasm, and when  it hit, it shook us both so much we literally collapsed, sliding down the door.

We landed in a heap, tangled around each other, laughing like loons.

Later we showered and curled up. 

"I'm doing a perimeter run early in the morning. Do you want to join me before Adam wakes up? I'll get Jake to keep an ear out for him!?" Daly asks me, kissing below my ear. I smile.

"Not tomorrow love. But I'll join you for a run in four months!" I say casually. He nods in agreement, not really listening, too busy kissing down my neck now.

Suddenly he freezes and lifts hid head to stare at me wide eyed.

He places a gentle hand over my stomach and looks at me questioning my statement, in too much shock to find words. I grin and nod. He whoops happily.

"Really? We're having another pup?" He asks, finally finding his voice.

"Yep, we're really having another pup!" I tell him. He leans down and kisses my stomach. Then he kisses me. Gently. Lovingly.

"You are the most amazing gift the goddess has ever created. And you're mine! I love you Lox!"

I smile at my mate, my husband, the father of my children. My soul.

"I love you too Daly!"
