Chapter 7 Loneliness

Chapter 7

Third person POV.
Faith's eyes close and right away she was asleep under her comfortable blankets.

Down the hallway you could hear the small sounds of pouncing paws hitting the hard floor. They meowed and ran and jumped onto the bed. Moose went and layed on top of Faith's chest as Puma went and layed on her left and Beauty took the right side.

Third person POV.
Clint walked down the hallway of the Starks building to his room. He was tired and wanted to sleep. He had just eaten with the others, they were all laughing expecting for Tony and Clint. Both of them not haveing a soulmate as almost the team did, they felt left out. They were happy for the others, but deep down both males are sad.

Clint sees his bestfriend be happy with her soulmate as he is stuck waiting for his soulmate. He would wait for his soulmate, and he would continue to, he is just getting really lonely. The only person who also felt this was Tony. At times Clint would go down to Tony and just drink with him.

Just to drown out of the pain of being alone and not being able to hold his soulmate in his arms. To kiss them and cuddle them. To snuggle his face into their neck and kiss and bite at them.

He couldn't wait for that day when he meets them. Who would be happy to finally be able to hold their soulmate in their arms.

Clint has hide the feeling a dread, sad, and loneliness from almost everyone except Tony. Tony was the only one who of course understood him. Tony was the only one in the team that he could relate to him.

Both bonded closer as they both relates about how everyone was being to clingy, or sappy with each other. Both quilty wishing they could be sappy with their one.

Clint POV.
I walk down the hallway to my room to sleep. At the end of the hallway stood Tony with a glass of scotch in hand. His eyes are casted down onto his phone as he leaned up to the wall. 

I walk to my bedroom door and grab the handle. I look back to Tony one more time before stepping into my room. I shut the door and stripped out of my clothes as I walked to the my bed. I let my clothes fall to the ground not caring where they went. I only cared to get into my bed and sleep. I strip down to just my boxers and finally got under my blankets. I close my eyes and tired to sleep.

Nothing, I couldn't do it. My mind kept on going back to seeing my teammates being happy, everyone except me and Tony. None of them clued in on how we felt, they were all to busy with their soulmate to wonder how we were.

I would say it didn't bother me.... but just a small part did. Natasha is my bestfriend, she used to know everything about me. But now she is to busy with Bruce or mission to even pay attention to me. I wouldn't have thought that I would have never though I would bond with Tony about our loneliness and absence of our soulmates.

I would go down to his lab and just drink and then start drunkenly ramble with him about how everything was unfair. How everyone was happier with their soulmates and we were stuck being alone until we meet our soulmates. The ones for us.

I sighed out and looked at the ceiling. Just go to sleep Clint. I'm tired, I know that. So just fall asleep.

I highly close my eyes and took a deep breath in and out. Nothing worked. I grab my TV remote that's in my drow and turn my tv on.

I play a random show and just watched tiredly. I tried my best to fall asleep, and slowly I did.

Tony's pov.

I walk down the hallway to my room to lay down. The others were in the main room. Wanda sat on Vision lap as Natasha sat on Bruce's lap, Loki with the his soulmate, Jane sat onto Thors lap. They all talked with each other as they grossly snuggled up to each other.

Why do they like to rub it into our faces. I feel like Steve knows. I just feel it.

I finally got to my big room and stripped out off all my clothes and layed onto the my bed, I pull the blanket on top of my nude body and closed my eyes.
