Chapter 9 Order

Chapter 9

Faith pov.

Nick left 15 mintues ago. I told him what had happen on my mission. Nick wrote it down to put it in file, after talking for a couple of mintues he had to leave to go back to work.

I shut and locked the door behind him. I walk back to the kitchen where I was making myself some brunch.

I stop in my tracks.

I walk over and stood in front of Moose, "Dude what are you doing, that's my breakfast" I said.

I quickly grab the egg of the plate, "Meow!!!"
"Uhh no. This is mine. That's yours" I said pointing to her bowls. He walks over and sniffs my finger and then bites me. I put my finger from his teeth and then pocks his nose. He scrunches it up and shake his cute little head. I chuckle and walk away from him.

Time skip.
After eating I went to my room and grab everything I would need for a walk. I was getting board, there was nothing on and I had nothing to do at home. Moose, Puma and Beauty were someone where in the apartment doing something. Probably pushing things off my counter tops.

"MEOW!"
"No. Sorry Puma, your not coming this time. I promise next time" I said I walked over and rubbed her little fluffy cheeks. I kiss her head and then left my room. I grab my keys and jacket from my rack.

I open my front door, making sure none of my cats going to run out I quickly step out and shut and lock the door fast. I make sure that the door was locked before I left the doo and the apartment complex.

Where should I go? Should I get some coffee and fine a new book to read? Or what?

I place my keys into my bag and put my jacket on. When would be my next mission?

I would probably be alone again... that's good. Don't need to be babysitting someone.

Third person POV.
Faith walks into the coffee shop she loves very much and went and stand in line. Her hands are in her pockets as she patiently waits in line for her turn.

She already new what she wanted. Coffee with one shot of milk and a one pack of sugar, she was also going to get some of their great cookies and muffins.

A couple mintues later it was her turn. "Hello what can I get for you?" The female asks.

The female names lily bites her lip and looks past Faith. "Umm... I'll have a extra larger coffee with one shot of milk and one pack of sugar" Faith said shyly. She fiddled with her fingers as she stares at the female who did not even pay attention to her.

2 minutes ago

Clint walks down the street, he didn't know where he was going but all he new was that he really wanted a cup of coffee. So the first place he saw that sold coffee he walked into. He went in line and waited.

But he quickly went into 'Hawkeye' mode. His eyes looked around the room quickly and closely he could.

His heart was speeding so fast in his chest. He couldn't believe it. The glow and pain sensations he has been waiting for, is now happening. His eyes landed on couples, or single people who didn't look up. Their head held down doing something. He moves his head straight and looks ahead of him. He looks at the female who worked here.

She is also looking at him already biting her lip. "Umm... I'll have a extra larger coffee with one shot of milk and one pack of sugar" Faith spoke out.

Clint tensed up. He was shocked and happy, very happy. The pain on his arm flamed up when he heard her voice. She sounds like an angel. She also sounds so shy. His eyes moves down and looks her up and down.... sort off since all he could see was her back and it's not in a creepy way, but to analyze her. He could see that she is fiddling with fingers. Clint froze when he saw the bruise on her hand.

He moves in his spot, he felt protective of her, even though he knows nothing of her.

Normal time.

To Faith.

Faith was aching from head to toe. She wouldn't even clue in if any of her mark's was burning. And one was, she thought nothing of it since her arm was already hurting. So she pushed it away. "Ummm.... hello...?" She asks out.

Clint took this opportunity to see his soulmates face and help her out, "Hey Ma'am, she's trying to order her drink" he said he steps out of line and stood right beside her, he turns his body to the side and place his elbow onto the counter. He tense up seeing the bruised eye and busted lip.

"What would you like?" He asks.

Faith looks up to him, her eyes went big and took a sharp breath in, "ummm.... I... i..." she shakes her head and close her eyes. She went back to looking st Clint, "I would like a extra larger coffee with one shot of milk and one pack of sugar" she said out. Clint smiles and looks to Lily.

Lily looks away from him to quickly write down the coffee order, "and I would like a black coffee..."

Clint turns his head back to Faith, "Would you like something else?" He asks. "Umm... and a chocolate chip cookie..." she said slowly.

Faith was being so shy, "and a chocolate chip cookie" he said back to lily.

"Is that all?" She asks. "Yes" "that would be $11.89" she said.

Faith quickly stocked out her hand that held 15 bucks. Quiclky Clint grabbed it and placed it back into her pocket before he pulled out his money and payed for it.

"Thank you for ordering here please come again. Your drinks would be placed over there" Lily said bluntly.

She knew she had lost him, for a teen. She glared at Faith as she walked away from them to get there drinks done.
