4~Greenwich park

MEGANS POV
I woke up that morning remembering that today I get to see Reece again. I rushed out of bed, jumping in the shower and getting washed as quick as I could. When I was finished I ran to my wardrobe, going through my many clothes about ten times debating on what I should wear. During this my phone began to buzz. It was Reece.
Hi, just making sure today's still on? Reece xxx
'Yea course it is, Greenwich 11 o'clock. Megan xxx'
'Good looking forward to seeing you again ☺️😉

'Yea me to see you soon, I need to get ready😘☺️

I was looking through my wardrobe again and wondering:
Should I wear a skirt and a blouse, a skirt and a t-shirt, a dress, jeans and a jumper. Then don't even get me going in which shoes would be best. In the end I decided my dark jeans with a blouse, a red cardigan and my white converse, thrown in with a small brown bag. My long brown hair hung in long curls down the back of my back and I didn't bother with a coat as it wasn't to cold out.
I left the house, walking to the train station. From Essex it shouldn't take to long, maybe an hour. The journey felt so long though, maybe because I just wanted to see Reece because it's never felt this long before.
When I finally reached Greenwich standing outside the train station was Reece with a massive grin on his face. I strode over to him, smiling myself. He has that affect on me, just by starting at him or even just thinking about him gives me the biggest smile.
REECES POV
As I finally got to Greenwich I decided I should really meet Megan at the train station, get to see her more then. Waiting. Many people were getting off but none of them were her. I started to feel doubt, like my chest had just fell to my stomach, she wouldn't of stood me up, would she?
Then during all of that worry she came walking through the doors with a massive grin on her face. My heart lifted and felt like it was going a million miles an hour. Her smile was contagious, the minute she smiled I just wanted to, but that's the same when I think about her. She finally reached me, dodging past everyone.
"You alright?" She smiled, "Yea, how was the journey?" I asked. "Okay, felt like I was never going to get here though, took sooo long" she answered, exaggerating the sooo. She was from Essex so it's just how they all speak down there. We then headed off towards the park.
MEGANS POV
We were walking towards the park. There were tones of people there it was astonishing. We headed toward the grass to sit down. When we were seated he finally told me the one thing that I wanted to know, "Iv been thinking about our nearly kiss" he said to me sheepishly, looking down at the grass but still smiling. "You have aswell, God I thought it was only me" I giggled. He shot his head up at me. "You have!" He said rather excitedly, "well yea" I said to him. "Why did you want the kiss to happen then?" He asked sheepishly again, smiling still. "Did you?" I answered twisting the question back on him, looking straight into his clear blue, honest eyes and I felt my face begin to heat up again. "What do you think?" He answered, "I'm hoping it's the same as me" glancing away to the crowd of people as I answered. "Mines good" he smiled at me, "that's a shame mine isn't" as I knocked his arm and winked, he just laughed.
After a little while we both got up. Reece went walking off towards a football that had been left by a group of people. We passed the ball to one another whilst talking about everything. We then started dribbling the ball, trying to get it passed one another. Obviously Reece was winning but I thought I was doing well for myself, then I decided to pick the ball up and go running around him. I tried to out run him, but he was a lot faster then me, we were both laughing out heads off, till he finally grabbed me around my waist, lifting me off the ground and spinning me slightly. To be honest I was surprised he could lift me. Still laughing we both flopped to the floor. We than raced each other to the top of the hill and me having the lung capacity of a five year old was nearly dying when I got to the top.
We both sat down at the top of the hill. the park was nearly empty millions of people had left. We both sat there, watching the sun go down behind the many buildings. "The sky looks so pretty" I said but I don't think he was paying much attention, I looked in the corner of my eye to see him just staring at me. "What about boyfriends then?" He asked, "I haven't got one" I answered. "Well any old ones?" He questioned "Yes" I said bluntly, bring the old memories of my old boyfriend Stan in my head. "He broke up with me because he thought I was fat" I said angrily. "You're not fat! Anything but!" He said to me "are you alright" he said to me genuinely. "yea, I figured he wasn't worth the tears, the bellend what he is" i sniggered. "He stopped taking me out! Definitely didn't take me anywhere with food, he felt embraced to go out with me, then I went out with a couple of friends, I saw him walking hand in hand with some girl." this memory brought back tears that I didn't want to waste on him. "when I confronted him about it, he got angry, throwing things everywhere, yelling at me fat slag, finally hitting me..." the tears were slowly trickerling down my cheeks. Reece sat there astonished, not saying anything but putting two arms around me and cuddling me into his chest. His chin rested on my head, his arms wrapped around me, this just felt right being with him, it didn't feel like anything bad could happen again. We both pulled away from one another staring deeply into each other's eyes, the sunlight nearly gone. This is what we had both been waiting for since Westfield. Our heads moved closer to one another, our lips inches away. Then he quietly whispered "I'm just waiting for someone to cough now" we both giggled as we pushed our lips towards each other. It made me forget about everything, every bad memory I have ever had and this overcome any good memory I have ever had as well. It felt right.
