11. Jessicas party

It was Wednesday, a normal boring school day. At lunch i found myself sitting on Montys lap with the rest of the guys. And Jessica Davis. Justin had finally done it. He'd been crushing on Jess forever now, so to know that he finally won her over was a relief. We sat, eating our food in a nice silence. "Hey so are you guys comming to my party tonight?" Jess asked, her cheerful smile radiating all over. "Ill go if you go" Monty said to me, smiling aswell. "Yeah of course!" I answered, taking a bite out of an apple. She cheered a bit, we both hoped to get closer as Justin was my brother you know. I had never gotten along with his other girlfriends. "We can come early and help you set up" Bryce suggested, earning a quick nod from Jess. "I can stop off and get some drinks if you need me to honey" I told her, while playing with Montys hair. "Ugh thank you! That would be great, my dad said that we cant use any of his good shit" She replied.

After school, Monty decided to drive me to the liquor store, where he previously had a fight. "You stay here" I orderd, giving him a stern look. He nodded and i gave him a small peck on the cheek. "Wont be five minutes". I picked up some fuity stuff and Vodka, taking out my fake ID in the process. I got some gummy bears as i knew thats what Monty liked and i shoved some haribows in my bra so nobody would notice. I'm not made of money you know. I payed for the items and quickly got back to the car, pulling opend the door and throwing the sweets onto Montys lap. "There you go, because i know you like gummy bears. I also managed to get away with some Haribows for Jess and Justin" I stated, buckling up for safety. "This is why your my girlfriend, because your like- the best" He said, pecking me on the cheek and smirking. He drove off, heading to Jessica's house to help set up.

We knocked on the door and Jess answered, giving me a small hug and inviting me in. Justin was inside, eating all of Jessica's food. "Hey fatty! Catch!" I shouted, throwing sweets in his direction. He lazily caught them and ripped the pack open. It was like Zachs sixth sence was activated as he jumped over the sofa and snatched the candy from my hand. "Thanks Angie" He thanked, mouth full of jelly babies and a couple gummy hearts i think. "I didn't forget about you Jess" I told her, giving her a pack of sweets too. She too shoved them almost down her throat and i let out a short laugh. I pulled Monty into the kitchen and we placed down the drinks onto a table, the cups next to them. We were both placing down cups, Monty's big sausage fingers not helping him. "Step back" I demanded, taking his plastic cups and puttimg them on the table faster than he was. Once i was done, i felt hand around my waist and i heard a soft groan next to my ear.

Monty rested his head on my shoulder. He squeezed me tight and i couldnt help but enjoy it. He kissed my cheek, then made his way down my neck. I wasn't expecting this now, not at the moment. We were busy, couldnt he wait until afterwards to want to get all affectionate? I rested my head back, him latching onto my sweet spot. "Ahem" I heard from the side of me, i looked over to see my brother, cross armed, staring at us. He didnt look amused. Monty smirked and kissed me once more before letting me go. I slap-tapped him on the arm and placed a piece of hair away from my face. I looked over at Jessica's kitchem mirror for a second, then looked back again with the biggest shocked face i have ever pulled. Pulling my hair out the way, i stared at the dark purple mark on my neck. I could see Monty staring and snickering at me, thinking he was being funny. I walked straight infront of him "this is so not funny!" I hissed, furrowing my brows. He pulled me in again "i just needed to make sure that guys know your mine" He smirked, biting his lip. I rolled my eyes, pulling away and sassing right out of there.

We were all up and  dancing at ten o'clock, me only on my third drink. I looked around to see a slightly pale, curly brown haired girl standing on her own. "Hey, you here alone?" I asked, smiling genuinely at her. "Yeah, i wasnt going to come but here i am" She answered, smiling back. "Its cool, Jess throws some really good parties apparently, I've never actually been to one before" I told her, shrugging. "Would you like a drink?"
"No thanks, are you here with someone?" She questioned, i nodded. "I guess im here with a group, we all set this up but technically im here with my boyfriend as we arrived together" I explained. "There you are!" I heard from behind me, a pair of arms around my waist. "Speak of the devil and the devil shall appear" i laughed, suddenly getting a kiss from my boyfriend. "Hang on a second Mont" I spoke, freeing myself from his grip. "I never got your name" I said to the girl as she was leaving my sight. "Its Hannah Baker" She replied, smiling again.

I went back to Monty who i realised was clearly intoxicated- very. I sat him down on the sofa but he insisted on me sitting with him so i did. The whole night was spent with him, laughing and kissing and kissing and kissing and- you get the idea.
