I shouldn't have come. I should be turning back but my feet wont stop walking. Fuck. And now I've stopped.I looked up at the shabby, grey house infront of me. I went to knock but took a second. My hand was seconds away from knocking at the door, but I stopped. Should I? No.
I knocked at the door, regretting it immediately. A few seconds later I hear the door open and a tall, tanned man stood before me. He had dark brown hair and clearly was not in the mood for me.
"Uhm, Hi. Is uh Monty home?" I asked, speaking up a bit. I cleared my throat and put my hands to my sides. "He's upstairs, what to you want with him?" The man asked me.
"I just want to speak with him sir, that's all." I told him, reminding myself to blink. I was sweating at this point. He pointed at the door up the stairs and opend the door more, so I could get in.
I shot the man a quick smile but it soon disappeared as he slammed the door shut. I walked slowly up the stairs, gulping.
"Monty?" I whispered loudly, looking around. I knocked on the door the man had pointed to and heard a voice from inside.
I opend the door and heard to creak slightly. "Hi" I greeted, meeting eyes with the boy. He looked at me, for a second before looking down. He stood up from his bed and I pushed the door, slowly shut.
His eyes were puffy too, he stunk slightly aswell. "I'm sorry" He mumbled, looking at me in the eyes. I didn't say anything, I just wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him.
He pulled me back, onto his bed. "I'm so sorry, I was just super angry that night and I'm sorry for being mean to you and-" I put my finger over his mouth so he couldn't speak.
I chuckled and removed my finger, crashing my lips onto his. He smiled and pulled me closer to him. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled away, placing his forehead onto mine.
"Mmm, Somebody missed me" He chuckled, pecking me again on the lips. "Somebody hasn't had dick for two weeks, it's different" I joked, placing my hands around his neck.
He smirked and bit his lip. "Oh, so that's what you came here for? I'm your booty call?" He asked, pinning me onto his bed.
"Nah, not just that. I love you, Monty. Wether you like it or not" I whispered, pulling on his flannel collar. "Hmm, sounds good. I love you too. I missed you baby" He replied, kissing me again.
"Too bad your dads home" I said, looking up at him. He nodded, sadly and frowned. "Hey, it's okay." I kissed him on the cheek and brung his ear down to my lips. "I can be quiet"
-School the next day seemed one hundred percent brighter and better. I had an class in the morning but I was happy. For the first time in a while I had really noticed my smile. I don't think we ever realise how happy we are in the moment, and It felt good to acknowledge it.
My hair was curled and my mouth was in a constant smile. I opened my locker and checked my phone, seeing a message and blushing.
'Monty ❤️🗝'
Hey, thank you for yesterday. I love you, beautiful ❤️My heart fluttered and I closed my phone. I pulled out a big chemistry book and started to continue walking down the corridor. "Angie!" I heard from behind me and saw a dark skinned girl jogging up to me.
"Hey, Jess it's been a while. How are you?" I asked, looking her in her eyes. She smiled back "rough, but you already know what's been going on." She replied. I nodded and softend up my face "I know, a-and I'm sorry for how things are. That's life right though huh?" I said, nodding.
"Yeah I guess, I'll see you at Lunch?" She asked with a smile. I nodded and headed into my own classroom, plopping my book down on my desk. My whole lesson felt like ages but I didn't mind. Most of the lesson I spent texting Monty as we always liked to talk. We connected like that.
I felt something weird hit the back of my head, then again and again. I turned around to see a couple of boys, throwing spit balls at me. They smirked and raised their brows, nodding at me. I stuck my middle finger up at them and turned back. "Feisty, i like it." One of them whispered and I laughed to myself.
"You have no idea." I mumbled to myself. They continued to make little comments but I ignored them, not caring for their immaturity. They were just dumb boys after all. After class I walked to my locker quickly to put my chem book back. "Angie fucking Foley, I'd tap that anyday." I heard some boy whisper.
I groaned and slammed my locker to see the same boys from my class, leaning against the wall. "What the fuck do you two want?" I asked, crossing my arms. "You in bed." One of them laughed out. I laughed too, sarcastically. "I only date guys with a penis." I told them, rolling my eyes.
"You'd fuck anything, be honest. We all saw that video last year with those girls. You get freaky or nah?" The other guy chimed in, making me more and more angry. "I'm not fucking gay." I whispered, clenching my fists. "Sure your not. We should proove it. What do you say?" They questioned, snickering to themselves.
"No." A voice said from behind me. The person put their arm around me and stared the boys up and down. "Fuck off." He told them, trying to remain calm. "Monty, it's okay." I told him, holding his hand. "Yeah Monty, your bitch can handle herself!" The guys said together, setting Monty off.
He lunged for one of the guys, pulling him to the ground while the other boy ran off. A fight had started, causing crowds and attention to fall on Monty. He was punching the life out of the smaller boy beneath him. "Monty! Monty stop!" I shouted, tugging him away. I lost my grip of his shoulder and he was able to get back in, punching the guy.
"Monty! Please...stop it!" I cried out, scared of him getting into a load of trouble. He heard the tone of my voice and got up, putting his bag on his shoulder. He grabbed my hand, pulling me away while I stared at the boy on the floor as be coughed up blood.
That's life though huh.
