To my unborn child,

Yes, I'm pregnant! The scientists have given me an embryo and soon I will find out if it's a girl or boy. There have also been some changes.

First: I have had to move from by home. My auntie thought it better if I didn't stay with the cousins who were having relationships. Too sad. So, now I am in a different type of living. It is more like an apartment. 15 rooms to a floor and there are 6 floors. All of the girls who are breeders live in these apartments. Don't get me wrong, it's not too bad. We have a small studio type room with mini kitchen and bathroom. Our meals are in the communal kitchen because we are all given diets specific to our pregnancy stages and any medications that may help with improving the baby.

Second: new rules. Now I am here, the aunties are a little different. More focused on our tasks I would say. We are not encouraged to be playful, those things are frivolous. We also receive more education about our world and let me tell you, it is a mess! It is depressing but I won't let it get to me.

I have my child now and I need to be positive about the future. I can do this.
