Renny said I look tired. She wants me to take time off. I heard her arguing with the other aunties about me having time off. But I don't want time off. I want to forget the past and the best way to do that is to stay busy and work hard.
I had a dream about Lila and my baby. I was searching for them both. They were calling me and telling me not to give up, to find them. I went to the men's camp again. It was like a maze and I was lost. My baby was crying for me and kicking his legs, but Lila had him in her arms and was running away. Then I realised the men's camp was a prison. No one could get in and no one could get out. The men were trapped, Lila was trapped, and my baby was trapped. I was not there with any of them. I could never get back inside.
I woke up breathing hard. How can Lila be dead with all the precautions that are in place?
Maybe someone inside the camp saw what happened to Lila. If I find someone who was in the meeting area when Lila was there, he might know something.
He might be able to help me understand how she can be dead now.
