He took my mothers only happiness, the only thing that completed my family.
My mom hasn't been complete for as long as I remember. She would look at Joseph with so much sadness that only grew over time.
She looked so young, my age. But she went through so much for her age.
In her eyes, you could see the anger and sadness in her eyes while she stared at her family members, all who have mates.
It killed her when Alyssa found her mate, she burst into tears when she saw how happy her daughter and mate were.
I had found my mate. I had been rejected by my mate. The pain was horrible. I couldn't imagine the pain my own mother is enduring. After all, she did watch her mate die before her very eyes.
So I made one goal for myself, because I knew things.
I could hear voices, I knew things no one else did. That's how I found out about my moms past.
